Kindle I am a heavy user and I tend to page back and forth a lot, which eats up battery life. So I wanted an easy way of implementing some emergency generators for long trips abroad. The Gomadic AA charger has worked well for me.

The main weakness is that with standard association agreements, it is slow to the Kindle over 80% of the cost. It will take my Kindle flat to 80% in about an hour, but it still takes six hours up to 100% registered. However, it does allow you to read and download at the same time.

Another slight weakness is that the collection point slightly loose fit in the Kindle. You must be careful to ensure that it is fully seated and remains fully inserted.

Despite these limitations have, I was pretty happy. It was a great relief to be able to recharge my Kindle from association agreement, if none would fit my power adapter plugs into the hotel. (Yikes.)

I also have a spare battery Kindle. The biggest drawback is that I need to know to make it in the invoice. The nice thing is that AA batteries have a long shelf life and they are widely available. So I have finished the implementation of the Gomadic charger instead of my spare Kindle battery. I find it reassuring to know that as long as I-AA batteries can keep reading, I can find!
