Summary: A First Class Accessory for Kindle

The Kindle cover is absolutely gorgeous. From the packaging, the smell and feel of the leather and the ease of use, it is worth the slightly heafty price tag. I was worried that the color might have been a little too bright, but it is a beautiful rich, dark tan. The suede interior is very luxurious and feels nice to hold. For everyone who wants a really "posh" accessories for your Kindle, you do not go in the past, the Cole Haan Kindle cover.

Summary: A reason it's rated highest
The Kindle was a Christmas gift and I wanted to protect a beautiful cover to it. Although not as crazy high for the price, this is an excellent cover! Buttery soft leather and it does not shout, "Hey, as a Kindle is here!

Beautiful, high-end cover-to. Easy to attach and remove the Kindle to easily. I preferred the fact that the Kindle is kept in this cover with a fastening mechanism, in contrast to only be in with elastic straps.

Buy it! Buyer's remorse can kick in, but it will not last long. You'll be glad you bought this cover.

Summary: A thing of beauty
I originally ordered cover with my own Amazon Kindle, but was disappointed. Certainly, it is working well, the hinge mechanism is large and it is intended to cover the Kindle, you get what you pay them and do not just smell of leather.

The cover is Cole Haan thing of beauty. It is luxuriously made of soft leather with a beautiful suede lining. It is the hinge mechanism, which securely fastens it to the Kindle. The lid is easy to hold and easily folds back so that they can be held in one hand.

The best thing of all, has a delicious scent of leather, which I love ... gorgeous! It's worth paying the money, it is smart, elegant, and I'm sure the last.

Summary: Beautiful leather but poor design.

Unlike some of the low reviewers here, I received a defects. The leather is fine and even looks better than the picture. However, after I my gripe is with this, after he used with my kindle, that it is certainly not the Kindle to the back cover. The problem here is that someone would accidentally pull the cover away from the Kindle ignites the edges of cake.

Three other things that I could not do, as the name sewn on the front cover of the disk and the business cards on the inside. The Cole Haan stitch in the front is annoying. I have already paid for the item, I must be a walking commercial for the company? The disk cover is just silly. And while the business card holder can be like a good idea, says it unnecessary bulk to the case and may press against the creation of more focused ignition pressure, where the keys.

It is a shame because the leather is beautiful and I actually some personal modifications to me by elastic strips at the corners and eliminating unnecessary stitched leather on the inside and outside front cover, but now it looks old and I have just been abused . But better than how it happened.

I would not recommend this product and believe that it is probably better, cheaper and safer alternatives out there.

Summary: Cole Haan kindle leather cover with hinge
I bought two covers, one for each Kindle I have. The first is made of leather was soft and smooth to the locked fire. So far so good. The second cover is made of leather is stiff, obviously from a different quality, and I had to struggle with the hinge.
I do not know this for a fact, but I would not be surprised if this is to replace just another "Made in China". I thought I would have to do with a U.S. supplier.

Summary: Cole Haan Leather Kindle Cover
This is an outstanding cover. The leather is extremely soft, but sturdy. I saw other less expensive but is ignited as I saw it and read the reviews I knew it was the only one for me. It fits nicely in the hand and is not difficult. The ignition sits securely inside. My husband bought me this for Christmas but I want to burn on my blanket. As soon as he saw them he agreed that, although it was more expensive than some others, it was worth it. One word of caution for anyone who is a perfectionist, because it is a pebble grain of the target is not perfectly smooth, it also adds some natural brands which have the general character is doing. I also love the saddle tan finish it is not too bright or too dark. The cover does not fold back when you fold back, as your book covers. I do not agree with another reviewer that the pocket should be slightly larger to accommodate a passport is not large enough to hold your business card or other ID. They are worth splurge on this cover!

Summary: Everyday luxury for your Kindle
The soft leather feel of this cover is the true luxury. It may feel soft, but is in fact remarkably robust. Wearing the Kindle about it feels like a fine old but not too heavy, a book in your hands. Scratches just add character on the cover. Learn how the Kindle is made to the hinges a bit of a trick, but once learned is trivial. If you're a heavy user of your Kindle, I just can not recommend this highly enough to cover. Have fun!

Summary: Excellent value for money, seriously.
I first tried the new standard in the event of Amazon Kindle 2 and could not live with the synthetic leather and strong odor. After careful consideration, I seem to present at the end of the order, the case is not overpriced. The quality is nothing short of superb. Cole Haan did use their best material on here, and it trully surpassed my expectations. You get what you pay for, and sometimes a little more than that.

Summary: Floppy front cover

I have the black Kindle cover was hard for a year. I wanted to upgrade to something plush. I have the new cover for Christmas. While the new cover feels great and looks great, the disk front cover is a real problem. When I hold the Kindle in the new cover, I need a way to the front cover ... find support in other words, you can not hold it like a normal book (with a hard cover).

I'm trying to put a piece of cardboard in the front cover, but thought that was probably not a good idea .. Guess I'll just with it.Cole Haan Hand-Stained Pebble Grain Leather Kindle much hinged lid (Fits 6 "display, Latest-generation Kindle), Saddle Tan

Summary: Is Amazon selling factory seconds/irregulars? (Love product/don't love Amazon's quality control)

I hope that I can update this review when I get a "normal" Cole Haan Kindle cover, as I currently am waiting for the third to arrive.

Of all the 5-star reviews at Amazon, the glowing reviews on blog sites, and because Cole Haan makes high quality products, I decided to go this cover. Although the cover at the upper end of the spectrum for Kindle prices, I wanted a comfortable, would receive a permanent basis, and high quality.

Nevertheless, I wonder if Amazon is selling factory seconds / irregulars. After receiving two defective cases, Cole Haan, I called customer service and asked them if they sell factory seconds, and I was not a clear answer from them, except an "I do not know." Rather, I was told by a call on Monday (4 days from now), because "the system does not allow you to send me a replacement for a replacement item. You need to call you back and try again."

I also noticed the last review by "capitalj" also had problems with a curved hinge without damaging the packaging ... hmmmmm.

Reason for the first exchange: bend the lower hinge was bent over the back of the case make it impossible to connect the Kindle in touch.

The reason for the second exchange: The leather was discolored / Schlieren (note the two customer groups, the pictures I posted).

Of course, minor problems in the big scheme of things, but when you consider that I was $ 99 for this product at least I hope that I would get what I paid for defective products or impure pay.

UPDATE:

Looks like I will not always be a replacement as I just received this e-mail from Amazon Customer Service:

"I'm sorry to hear the replacement items had the same problem as with your first order. This is usually not the case. Since it is likely another would replace defective, I will not come up with a different order.

Please send the item for a full refund. We will pay for the cost of the return. "

So ... does this mean Amazon sells factory seconds / irregulars this product now? Do they have of "not broken" Cole Haan cases ... expired or is this politics when passing 2 exchanges on the same point?

I went ahead and turned the first on the Cole Haan hinge cover I have it now so fits in well with the Kindle slots (I had not yet returned, or I) had no luck. The hinge is very sturdy, so I hope it will not turn back problem all along the line. (I have colored the case in the mail) for return.

So, when I bend the hinge back in (now it fits great, looks great, love it) I'm going to 5 stars for the product, but 1 star for Amazon's quality control ... There is a 3-star update a whole.

Summary: Kindle Cover
To Protect attractove leather on the screen and front panel of the Kindle. The foam pad adds a little more contained protection when carried in luggage or moved during the trip.

The Kindle clips easily and safely appear attached to the spine of the cover and can be removed if preferred.

All in all a nice addition for the Kindle unit.

Summary: Kindle cover - worth the money
I received my Kindle e-book for Christmas. At the time, it was not available in Canada, so I could not find a cover for it in my local stores. I am one of those people who buys skins, covers, protective films for everything I own. I had to do all of my research for the Kindle cover online. It was not a quick and easy task; since all the covers appeared to have different mechanisms to attach the Kindle to the cover. I did not want a cover that would allow the Kindle to slip out, or slide around while I'm reading. The Cole-Hann cover looked attractive online, but it was on the high side of the price scale. The picture online appeared to show that it the only cover that used hinges - which I thought would be better than the others. When I received the cover, I was very satisfied with the look and feel (very soft leather), but it took me a while to figure out how to work the Kindle into the hinges. There are 2, and they are designed at different angles, to maximize the stability of the Kindle, once installed. Once the Kindle is "hooked" into the cover, it truly feels like a leather-bound book. The padding is generous, and well-stiched. I am glad that I did not go with one of the covers that allows you to slip the Kindle in and out. This Cole-Hann cover will likely outlast my Kindle - as technology changes, I'm sure I will be upgrading at some point. It would be wonderful if I can re-use this cover. I like it that much. Hope this review helps.

I bought my husand the latest generation of Kindle for Christmas - but he always kept on a cover until he decided what he wanted, could. This was his choice, and it was an excellent book.

I have a different coverage Cole Haan, which is more difficult. This is a soft cover, with a good feeling "himself. He loves it, and in some ways I'm sorry, I have another version for me. It is exactly as shown. You can Flip up the front reading.

Summary: less guilt
I got the Kindle for Christmas and was very matter of something that I really wanted to stimulate a change. However, I immediately felt guilty. My mother instilled a great love for books and I kind of feel like I'm selling out. Not for long leisurely excursions into my favorite book store. Ending the relationships I developed over the years with the little old ladies in the bookstore. The fear of someone stealing the Kindle from the front seat of my convertible, while the top-down (which is 300 days per year) God knows no one has stolen a "book" out of my car! Anyway, I bought the leather helped reduce the debt. The feeling of Cole Haan leather in my hand is my new adult blankie sorry mama!

Summary: Looks like $1MMMMMM
I love the look, feel and smell of this cover and am very satisfied satisfied with your purchase, even if it is a bit expensive. But it looks good with my Saddleback leather bag.

That is, I have 2 small complaints. First, it is a bit awkward to keep in order after a while and I find myself adjusting Freqently. Secondly (and a little embarrasingly), it did not come with instructions so I do not know how secure the K2 on the hook. After some shaking, I finally got it connected, but the top connector is not addictive, the same as the lower jack (design or a problem, who knows) and now I can not get to see whether I set it.

Only I can see this little problem and it is otherwise a great product.

Summary: Luxury feel, olde world look -
I have this coverage had my Kindle 2 for 7 months. I love the soft leather and suede non-smooth feel on the inside. The stitching is precise and hooking into the spine of the Kindle is completely safe.

It is durable, but there are a few scratches over the months of heavy use of acquired distinctiveness - I think it adds character. Fold the cover back fine, I like to do when reading to do and there are no wrinkles in the leather.

I prefer this softer cover to which a stiff my daughter for her Kindle - for me it is worth its price.

Summary: Nothing like a good book cover!
I chose this cover based on the previous customer reviews on all the different types and am very satisfied with the advice. You get what you pay for. I do not fold the rear cover as some suggest, but keep it in the open position that they feel as if you are making in the possession of a "real" book. The hinges are very easy to use and hold the Kindle securely in place. I even let fall from the chair height to the ground without injury, so it also cushions the Kindle. The only thing I would like to add to previous reviews, is when I closed the lid Kindle bear somewhere for the first time I discovered that my fingers have to press the page forward button and I had my place in the book to find again. To solve that I never close the lid, without having to sleep my Kindle.

Summary: Perfect!
It's great, beautiful leather. A little pricey, but that's what you get with Cole Haan. I like to make any covers and accessories, thick, thin things. This cover holds the Kindle thin and protects it in style. It has a slot for holding business cards, but it seems unlikely that a person would hold business cards with their "book." It seems like a useless feature, but that is a very very very small complaint. Great cover. If you read this review, you are not too worried about the price, so just go ahead and get one.

Summary: Second defective cover, returning, not exchanging

I have never been to this 2nd cover on my Kindle The upper hook was severely bent. There was no damage to packaging which is damaged and appeared before packaging and shipping. I did not want the risk of fatiguing the metal by bending it back so that I get it for a refund.

I would have to be replaced, but the other Cole Haan treat I ordered a Kindle DX, was also broken - if it is closed on more than one quarter inch of DX exposure.

I am very disappointed.

Summary: Stay away from this item. Too tight a fit.
The high-priced leather looks good, but that's all I can say by way of positive comment. I tried several times to install my new Kindle 2, 6-inch display, this cover, and I refuse to force the hinges in the Kindle two slots. Too damn close! All I had to get done, to add small scratches on the inside of each slot, before I the product back in its box and prepared it for shipping back to Amazon. I know that my contribution is in the minority, but I say true, folks. Stay away from this cover! In contrast to at least a few other unfortunate reviewers here, my Cole Haan's hinges are not bent revealed. They are simply not designed for easy insertion, if you do not stress out fracture risk, which is Kindle. I'm not so inclined.

Cool was looking for leather, well made, but the hinge problem tells me that no one attached in the factory on a Kindle for this product.

I often purchase here on amazon.com, and I love my new Kindle, but this is the only product out of hundreds I've bought, which is totally unsatisfactory.

Go with a less expensive cover, one without hinges.

Summary: The proverbial kid glove
I admit, I am a relapse. One of the things that led me from buying a Kindle was the tactile sensation of holding a real book, leafs, balancing on my chest while napping. But the Cole Haan Cover provides all the tactile satisfaction of a book and much more. It is soft, smooth, high-quality leather ... like an old briefcase, you have done for years. The suede interior is also baby-soft. Amazingly durable, the cover has continued to look good. The front flap is flexible and folds back to make the Kindle with one hand. The card holder is redundant, but ok. I made the first mistake of buying aftermarket one of the other hard, leather covers. It was smelled musty and was more like "leather" in appearance. I quickly replaced it with the Cole Haan, and am very satisfied. Soft as the proverbial baby glove. Buy it.

Summary: This is the best cover for Kindle hands down!

This cover makes reading the Kindle really still more pleased to see that it already is. It ignited mantains thinness of the most in a way that any M-Edge or Patagonia is covered (no offense to Patagonia, their great cover for more rugged use!). This cover was a Christmas present on (for evidence from me, I and I). Besides, I had bought one for my dad for Xmas and hypocritical ignited an M-edge, although I have asked for this cover. (I had my reasons). Well, my father looooooved the Kindle was immediately jealous of my new cover. He secretly began comparing the two. Two days later I see an Amazon box at the door to meet my dad with this Cole Haan ignite haha .... really think he loved it. I can understand, but there's really no comparison between this and the cheaper models that I have a chance, had to play with. Kudos to Cole Haan design team! I call it a home run away.

Summary: This saved my Kindle from my 2yr old son!
I am the mother of 3 children. My youngest 2 years old, a monster named Michael. Normally I keep my Kindle stowed away from my little monster. Yesterday, the first day, since I had my Kindle that I forgot to order it from the nightstand in the morning. It does not shock me that my little girl the Kindle found on the nightstand. In addition, I am not shocked that he decided that the glass of water, which was my next Kindle pour all over the lid. What does shock me is that both the Kindle and Cole Haan cover survived the attack. The water through the lid never enough to get the Kindle watered. The lid itself has been watered. The Kindle bone dry. I took the lid off the Kindle, and laid it flat to dry my counter. It dries within hours and is not water-stained at all! This coverage is phenomenal. I bought this cover it is based only on the appearance. Obviously I should have my decision on the durability of the foundation. This cover is expensive but so worth it. It is not only beautiful, it's also a great protector.
