Summary: Amazon Kiindle replacement battery for 1st generation
My 1st Amazon generation battery lasted about 2 years and it was urgent that I can not replace, but thought it a good idea because I always use my Kindle (long waiting times in the Dr. 's office, long hair appointments, and only for the pure joy of a long, what could have been a boring evening. I put my new battery without any problems. I do not have the new battery for long, but so far it's great. By the way, if I do not for my Kindle use for several hours, I turn it off and not just "Enable hibernation."

Summary: Amazon Kindle Replacement Battery (for 1st generation Kindle)
My first battery was the brand. I bought the Kindle in June 2008 and do not replace the battery until January 2010. The only problem that I see is that I do every other day to recharge, but I read a lot. If the battery need to be replaced, I knew it when the Kindle would lock up. However, I could take out the battery leak and relace the plug of the battery. This lasted until I get the new battery. But it has given me reading time to come until the battery. I could have bought a cheaper brand, but I knew how this battery worked, so I stuck with it.

Summary: Average battery life

I have two Kindles with a total of 4 batteries (2) for each Kindle. I bought the Kindle for the trip, and while the battery is not in a colder climate in winter. Well, most of the electronics, I had no battery power permanently reduced due to the cold temperatures have, I can not fault it too much. But the Kindle battery, supposedly for free the last two weeks, not least one days may be read for an hour while on subways, etc., without dying while I was away from a charger. The shortage of batteries meant that I did not get the exchange, had ordered in December / January to March, after the trip. In this sense, and as a person, the electronics until they work no longer used, I on 2 Replacement batteries stocked up while they were available. The battery life is approximately 2 weeks, much longer than the original, and I ended up tying the other substitute battery with the new Kindle so that everyone has a spare - so not all reading is unbearable.

Amazon dropped the ball with real supply and demand for the batteries. Floor, if they are available, so you do not ask to hang if the Kindle or the battery a little dust.

Summary: Battery Life
I like the idea of a Kindle but I do not use it as much as I want because of economics, a senior. I'm also reluctant to take it Out & About w / me, for fear that it always get broken, lost or stolen. I do not take to the beach either. So I read it at home, so how has this battery getting worn out. They were very accommodating, I really have it apppreciated. So, hopefully I can continue to use my Kindle for a long time. It would be nice an option to read books, like in a library, that would have a bonus. I have to read the possibility of downloading some of the old classic used. Perhaps you could create a way to employ senior citizens, more inflamed than ours, without so much of a cost, ie. Round Robin Exchanges, Seniors Online, lending library. I really enjoy reading. Thank you Jeannette Tango

Summary: Brought my Kindle back to life.
I was very pleased that the battery is purchased to replace the I in my Kindle to the (three years old) was perfect. It taught me a lot of uses and also has first edition of Kindle back to life without the loss of my materials.

This is my third battery in three years and I am generally very pleased with it. I wish the whispernet was not such a burden on them, but I just do not allow it to function continuously and the battery is more than acceptable.

Summary: i put it in, it makes it work!
The longevity of my battery was ignited about 1.5 years, and was used a lot. It was pleasant to discover that a replacement battery only $ 20 when I expected something at least twice that amount was.

It was easy to replace, and my Kindle is back up and running like gangbusters, or a uniform appropriate comparative companies / organizations.

Summary: Kindle battery replacement and service
When my Kindle went "belly up" I was ready to panic here. I thought it was just a battery problem, but could not be sure. An operator at Amazon gave me a few things to try and if that does not work, they agreed that, as I only needed a battery considered.
She looked at the exact position I needed # so I could order it online in minutes. It came in just a few days ago, and now I'm back up and running. Great! I am a happy camper now.

I bought this battery because the old do not seem to remain in power as long as it was, but not the new dough does not seem as strong as was the old and new. This is would take a 3-4 days, until it whereas the new bill seems to have made to be recharged every 2-3 days already.

Summary: My Battery worked
We say thank you, whoever, to the battery, because my first generation kindle died and I was so close to throwing it out, but then I had what I read here and pushed the reset button on the back of the Kindle and it works now reset properly! ! So I say thank you thank you thank you. You saved me from buying a spare battery and you saved me as well throw it away. It's working fine now so if it happens again, I know what to do. Thanks again.

I bought this battery in early January, so I've only used it for about a month. It is too early to judge how it performs. I am trying to calculate is often rather then let it discharge all the way. I did with my last battery, and it took a year, despite the fact that I ignite my often. The battery is a bit hard to install. I have small fingers and still had some trouble.

Summary: Replacement
If this battery for my K1 that I had for a few years. The old battery can not recharge especially in the use of Wispernet. Do this, put it in, took maybe a minute, charged and now my Kindle is acting like new. Can Wispernet as I used to be. Good product. Get it if your battery is not fresh. I too have heard it is not good theses fully discharged batteries at low cost. Prolong their lives.

The battery works well and keeps the Kindle run much longer. Also it was very easy to install.

Thank you for your help the last person I spoke to customer service, that I only order the replacement battery from Amazon and install my own advice - rather than the older I got, that I am the Kindle in sending and Pay proposed to have $ 59.00, the battery, replaced Kindle.

This is the second replacement battery I bought one for my Kindle in the last four months. He sucks too! I am completely at a loss, why has taken a product that has worked so well (my first battery 3 years) can not be replaced with reliability or consistency. At this rate, I will replace my Kindle, a reliable battery.
