Rating: 5Summary: ....lightweight and perfect for my Kindle DX....
Recently I got a Kindle, and found me, it goes with me everywhere. Since the Kindle is not illuminated, I thought a clip on the lights would be nice, because when I read in the car or if I did not want in our bedroom light, if I am not able to put my latest novel to write. Enter the Mighty-Brite .... it is flexible, lightweight and light clips on my cover. There is good coverage of the light and not too light or too dark. Just right in my opinion. I have also used a clip as well as bound, and overall I felt this was a really good product. Nice design, good lighting and good value in my opinion.
If you need to shed some light on the subject, I would take this one too.

Rating: 5Summary: 1 1/2 yrs and still going strong!
I use this every day and love it! I fasten it, the book cover to use it on my kindle. I do not want to be able, without using the lid. The batteries last a long time, but we must be careful when traveling with him. He switches on very
easily, so I just turn one of the batteries before packing it on. I would definitely recommend it!

but it works great. It's a bit too big for the Kindle, but it serves the purpose, certainly good.

Rating: 4Summary: A bit too good
In the stillness of the night, when Mighty Bright is needed most, there is always a light bulb reflection in the middle of the page .... They move him aside, some .... I did and then it is not necessarily say "powerful
hell ".

Rating: 5Summary: A bright light amongst the competition
I have a lot of research on light not only for the Kindle, but for the reading period .. I have purchased many lights over the years and find that this is the "bright light" among the crowd.
It is bright enough to read in any light, but not too bright to my eyes hurt, especially if I have a migraine, and incredibly easy to use.
I would recommend to rekindle this light not only on your reading, but if you're a light you need, when you are in the middle of the night ...
Highly recommend this item !!!!!

Rating: 4Summary: a bright purchase for the money
this mighty bright xtraflex2 clip on light is the money worth the cost. When the single bulb version that would not give, you see enough light for the price you are on the order form compared overpaid, this light all the light needed to read by allowing you the opportunity, single or double light bulb use.

Rating: 5Summary: A good little light
This small bright light illuminates. Can it not as a flash, but it's great for the Kindle. Lots of light () in both meanings, and is light enough to not annoy you read. Clamps on the Kindle is good and a good travel size. Get in if you are still uncertain as to your light.

Rating: 4Summary: A great light
I think the light is fantastic. 2 settings for brightness, which is good, if you dial down a little next to a sensitive person next to you in bed. It raises a wide range of lighting, so that the whole screen lights up to show ignited at once. It is miles better than the old freebie clip-on lights have I use for books that only lit up small areas of an open book sufficient enough to read. Clip notes and be padded on the inside to prevent scratches. The only drawback is that it is not really small enough to fit in my carry case, inflame Patagonia. It is not the end of the world, and I can only wear them separately in the same briefcase or napsack.

Rating: 5Summary: a must with purchase for your Kindle.
Very little light, which measures the proper Kindle. No longer need to read with the lights on and light enough to not always try to tilt the book away from me.

Rating: 5Summary: A Perfect Application
This is a perfect application for a problem. The Problem: Reading a Kindle in a dark room at night and did not wake him, by giving your parrtner a light on. Solution: "Mighty Bright".

Rating: 5Summary: A Very Cool Light!
If I have bought a Kindle for my wife, I thought this kind of light could be operated as an accompanying gift. The Kindle and the light go together! The quality of construction is very good, and the neck can be rotated in different directions to position the light so that they do not produce glare on the screen. The clip is a bit bulky, but he maintains the light. (I'm assuming that this light is cut off on a Kindle case. Without the case, I could not recommend this light.)
The two LED lights are great. If there is a lighting of the rooms on the Kindle, then an LED seems to be sufficient. In a dark room will need two. The lights are cool feel, and so far the batteries have not needed to use after several hours of composure. This is a well-designed light, we have not regret buying it at this great price.

Rating: 5Summary: Absolutely love it!
I let the light for my husband to use on their Kindle. He reads at night before bed and the light on at night are kept me awake until he, through reading. Now with the new light that I can go immediately to sleep!

Rating: 5Summary: Acessory for Kindle
This little light works well with the Kindle and that's why I bought it in the first place. Its easy handling and mobility makes no glare at all. It allows for late night reading without disturbing my husband. Placing it on the corner of the Kindle works best and allows for turning the page and shutdown of the Kindle.

Rating: 3Summary: At least the packaging is frustration free
How many guests i feel the product is over priced. Open the "frustration free" packaging just frustrated because I did not find any instructions in the box too. Search in the search for the battery and figure out how to open it. The instructions are packed in the battery compartment. Needs not included (3) triple-A. It turned out, their is an optional AC adapter is not interested. Go to store in order to triple-A's. Everything is pretty good but nothing special. I can see where the switch could cause some problems, especially if you're traveling. For the price they could have thrown in the batteries, or made it clear that they were not taken into account when it is purchased. Oh Well, at least the packaging was "frustration free"

Rating: 1Summary: Bad Switch
I lit two of these lights for two. Upon receipt you had a bad light switch and not working properly. Also, the battery cases almost impossible, without opening the case. I do not recommend that you buy.

Rating: 4Summary: batteries!!??!!
This light is great for reading, and sleep not disturbed otherwise. The only comment I down concerns the lack of batteries in an item of this caliber and price. It's just something that could be taken into consideration in the future.

Rating: 5Summary: best book light ever
I originally bought this book to accompany my Kindle (which was a Christmas present!). I like reading in bed, and so in this context, it would be beneficial. I love it! The design is great! I like that there are two settings. The flexible neck means I can use it for normal books. The best feature: it uses AAA batteries. I have a compact book light I bought from a bookshop. Beautiful, but it uses this weird CD batteries that are hard to find. Plus the batteries so fast on the thing. This book light is perfect! It was a good investment!

Rating: 5Summary: Best book light I have ever owned!
As the title indicates preserved the best book light I have ever had occasion to use. I use it with my B & N vertices and it is lit it properly.
Pros
Very bright light adjustable.
Very flexible neck.
The battery life is incredible, she had gone for 2 months and it has not lost any brightness.
Cons
Find Now that I am because I do not think anything can make the wrong!

Rating: 5Summary: Best book light I have owned in a long time.
This is a great little book light with plenty of quality. You can only switch on a light or both. It makes sure no one in the room with you. The lighting is great for reading in bed. No glitter, light and very flexible. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Rating: 5Summary: Best book-mounted reading light ever
The light fits on the lid of my fire, and is the best book light I have ever found. It can be addressed on the page, not in my eyes. It makes the night reading a pleasure. I had my daughter try it, she enthused, I bought one for her that she happy with. I'm glad the Amazon Kindle, it is appropriate to me in an e-mail.

Rating: 5Summary: Best Kindle accesories
I have read many reviews. In my experience, the Mighty Brite is the best book about light that I have ever seen. The leather protects the Kindle and looks good, not scream "steal me". This is without doubt the way to go.

Rating: 5Summary: Best Light Ever
I am careful with Booklight, because I never was a, who had worked properly, but it's finally a bright enough and stable enough and positioned enough to make it really possible, in bed after my husband wants to read "lights out."
These clips on the cover of my Kindle, which I then fold behind the Kindle in the bracket and then I can adjust the light, as I need it.
The light is bright and clear and without the annoying "Torch Center" had so many of the bulb reading lights. It covers the entire page, bound on a regular size.
. BUY THIS. You will not regret it.

Rating: 5Summary: Best light for Kindle DX
I tried a generic light and a Kandle before buying it. The Mighty Birght is by far the best for the DX, the light is really bright, on the contrary, I think it's best on the 1 LED setting in most cases. The neck can be easily positioned to provide optimum light for your Kindle. It is not the coolest looking light, but it is functional and the clip works just as well, at least for the DX.

Rating: 5Summary: Best little light
This is not one of those things you think about ... wishes to your account! It is ideal for those times, and it packs used perfectly in the pocket we to carry our Kindles, so if we need them, so it is. Thanks for a really nice product.

Rating: 5Summary: Best reading light ever
This light is the simplicity in action. It is easy on the hard drive cover of a book or the Kindle. There are two light intensity settings will help to ease the transition from adaptation to light the eyes' sensitivity. It has a perfect view of the illumination. This is by far the best book light I've ever seen.

Rating: 5Summary: Best reading light ever!!!
This is the best small reading lamp that I ever heard. I've bought a few over the years, and they are either inconvenient to put the book, too heavy or too dark and a light, somewhat. This one is a winner. I love it. I love the light weight, ease of attachment to something, the flexible neck, and the convenient On / Off button with two choices of brightness. I hope this article has never stopped because it is the only light I want to use ever read.

Rating: 1Summary: Both LED's burn't out with in 2 months!
The LED's have to be cheap, because they both made burn't perhaps 10-12 hours after use. I have never dropped it or banged it. They just started to flash and flicker at first for a few minutes, then nothing. I would not recommend this light.

Rating: 1Summary: Bright & Too Heavy!
Hard to put on the cover to ignite. It is too bright even on just one light switch for my husband sleeping next to me! The same light and cheap in many colors @ Barnes & Noble. I'm not happy with it. The light I had kindled for original was great and fit into the lid and could always be there and carried around, it was small and just perfect. Why do not you come with such a great thing for Kindle 2?

Rating: 5Summary: Bright and Portable Book Light
In this book light is light and portable. It is by 2 AAA batteries and can also run an AC-DC adapter (.4 V DC 100 mA) are available from the manufacturer. It has a well-positioned on / off switch that controls the brightness. You can press the power button moved to engage both an engaged once or twice. Third, push turns off the light. Clip is sturdy and, thanks to the flexible gooseneck makes it easy to adjust lighting to fit your reading needs. Customer service department is first class.

Rating: 5Summary: Bright as daylight!
The little light is so bright. I bought it for my Kindle and have other uses found for them. With the flexible neck you can get in tight spaces, that is not really a regular flashlight to illuminate. The glare on my screen Kindle is minimal and resolved with rotating light away from the screen. I recommend this little light, but I found it cheaper at the local bookstore, after I'd already bought it here, I buy it again.
=== Review #35 ===
Rating: 5Summary: Bright enough to turn the lights off
Use it almost every night reading my Kindle in bed with other lights turned off. Gooseneck is where I put it. . . important because there are some screen glare, when the angle is not correct. Will clip easily turned on my Kindle leather portfolio, whether open like a book, or with the lid on the back. Battery life seems very good. . . I have not taken the first set of batteries yet. This is a surprise, since most of my recent reading lights for paper books went through batteries very quickly. The switch quality is good and easy to find with a fingertip into relative obscurity. Wish it had a small travel case, but a cosmetic bag would work OK. Just do not like the idea of throwing it in a carryon without. Good value for the relatively low price.

Rating: 5Summary: Bright Light
After I ordered my Kindle two of these. The light output is very bright for a straight line and the possibility to choose between one or two lights is fantastic. It measures very well ignite every book and be a small and flexible. I would recommend this who buy a clip light for their Kindle. You will not be disappointed. The battery lasts forever in this matter, just as you will not ever change them out as long as you turn off the lights when you're done reading.

Rating: 1Summary: bright light, but switch fails quickly - customer service bad
I bought this book for use with the Kindle DX. It worked well for about 1 day and then the light switch was intermittent and eventually failed completely within 2 days. The switch seems to be defective or otherwise the battery could be bad wiring, do not know which.
I contacted the seller a guarantee of compensation. I was assured several times by phone and by e-mail that the item would be replaced free under warranty and does not return the defective unit. I have no replacement for a day.
Since I have a useless light and no refund, I would that all those who recommend this book to purchase twice before risking it!
If I ever get the warranty replacement, I will update this review.

Rating: 4Summary: Bright Lite
This light is easy to use and allows me to read in bed and not disturb my wife.
It is also easy to adjust to minimize the glare on the screen.
=== Review #39 ===
Rating: 4Summary: BRIGHT, but heavy.
I went through a whole series of book lights, until I broke down and ordered it. It is (by far the brightest light I've found it has 2 settings, I use it is always the lowest.) The only disadvantage is that it is difficult to ignite, it weighs me so sometimes I have the reader prop + light against something instead of holding it in one hand. I was worried that they require batteries, but after it it almost every night for over an hour minimum for a month, the batteries still have to show characters.
Overall I would definitely recommend this light. The length allows you to forgive it in all possible positions, which I sometimes use as a counterweight.

Rating: 5Summary: brighter than I thought
I have had several reading lamps in the last few years but finally found 'The One', to keep me and others recommend, not only for the Kindle. It took me only a little getting used to the brightness of the light, but you can tone up a notch. It's just the perfect reading light - the handle is the best I have ever seen and I love to "move" the light around to adjust how I sit and get the best view and remove all glare.

Rating: 4Summary: clip light for Kindle
The Mighty Bright Clip on light for the Kindle works very well, it is easy to clip on and is very bright. I bought it for my 83-year-old mother for her Kindle. She is diabetic and has impaired vision. The largest font on the Kindle is still difficult to read for them, helping the light very much.

a little hard to clip on, but fine. I do not know if I buy it all again would not be too many applications
=== Review #43 ===
Rating: 2Summary: Clip on Light
The light should be a good accessory for the Kindle. The light source is good. The problems with the clip are:
1. Cranky The on / off switch is stuck and will not allow for easy starting.
2. The light source is difficult to adapt to the screen and causing glare spots on the screen.
Perhaps Kindle should come with a way to re-light their screens.

Rating: 5Summary: Cool Light. scoo
Awesome product. Only one catch so far. Insert the batteries last night and the thing lights up like a Christmas tree. Beautiful. Only this morning I went to click on it and read me light a little and only one of the lights came on! I tried changing the batteries and the problem persists. Everything worked wonders last night and today (my second day of use) only activated 1-light. Help?

Rating: 1Summary: Dead after 10 minutes
Wow, after using this product for 10 minutes, walked off the light. I thought it was the batteries, so I replaced it. However, the light will not turn on. Save your money and get something else.

Rating: 1Summary: disappointed with product
The light of this product is very minimal. You can not read you light with this light.

Rating: 3Summary: Disappointing but still useful
I found that I needed a light to read my Kindle at night and in some other low-light situations as well as Amtrak trains. The little light is very bright, so they do not reflect in the glass of the Kindle that frequent adjustments. More annoying is that I roll can not figure out the best way, or fold it up put it in my purse or luggage. Most annoying is that the only way I could find to prevent it from turning on if it has been in my pocket to remove the batteries, too. Just a Giant Drag - This little light better design would benefit enormously.

Rating: 1Summary: DO NOT PURCHASE
I used this product once and it's broken. It is simply not on and I tried to change the batteries.
What a waste of time. Now I either have the choice to go through the hassle of returning it or just think it's down $ 20 for the stream. It would be better off buying a $ 10 one in a drugstore.
Thanks a lot Mighty Bright.

Rating: 3Summary: Does Not Fit Kindle
This is a great light for books, but the bulky clip makes it difficult to use with the Kindle too.
=== Review #50 ===
Rating: 4Summary: Does the Job
This light is with the exception of the handle, a bit too big to be on the leather (separate item) and fit a size between the Kindle itself. Still happy with it.
=== Review #51 ===
Rating: 4Summary: Does the job -- but when possible, I'd rather use a table lamp
Although the Mighty Bright is a beautiful accessory for the Kindle, its thick, clamp-style clip can be difficult, especially if you have a lid on your scanner. If you meet the standard Amazon Kindle 2, it slides on the cover directly behind the Kindle, thus pushing the device forward. This is a bit of stress on the hinge system. When the M-Edge-Go! Cover which attaches greater security, the Kindle can not, you slip behind the Kindle and they should (instead of the spine's My Place) or the front cover preferred, either in its open position clip and folded behind him.
The LED light is definitely bright enough for reading in an otherwise dark room, and it has two, Easy-Click Settings for one or two lamps. The gooseneck design allows for bending in almost every position you can imagine, and this is essential for success, since different covers in different positions and because it requires an intense luster detect when too close or at a certain angle. Because the batteries are (three AAA, not included) into the terminal, lies the small additional weight of the lamp in your hands, the head of the Kindle, and is easy in the sense of "book does not elaborate on" establishing a balance subject.
The entire unit is light, amazingly small and light, transported without much space at all. Any Kindle owner has not stuck a plane had been operating with a skylight is never more again on board, without one of them. Even with an overhead light work, is preferable to the Mighty Bright because its light is more intense and directed. But in most cases I prefer it to my Kindle the room lighting or a table lamp, used primarily because of the ineptitude of the connection to my M-Edge to Go? Cover. My husband, who has an Amazon Kindle on the cover, feels no need for this light, either. I am glad that I stay there for reading in bed or not, but I do not want to use it every time I read it.

Rating: 3Summary: Does the Job but....
The Mighty Bright Light Cliq for Kindle does its job ... is a light on the Kindle screen. Two weeks show on the road. However, you must be careful when you pack light with the batteries. When I first arrive at the hotel, I noticed that my backpack pocket was burning "." The light was on. There is no lock to ensure that wear is not the light by accident during the trip. Tough on batteries. The second part is that the positioning of the light on the Kindle in "just the right angle" will take some time. Third, I have never needed more than a light to read well. The second light make a backup of the almost Cliq Light Flashlight ... that's not bad.
We are there for a month after Europe is heading this summer and the Mighty Bright come with us. We are not the batteries in the light, until we arrive, as it makes no sense light, I go blind across the Atlantic. Would I buy this again? Yep! Built like a tank and makes the job at a good price. Fix the "on-and off" and positioning issues, it would be perfect.

Rating: 5Summary: Does the trick perfectly!
This light is the perfect complement to my new Kindle Christmas! The light is much smaller than expected, and super bright! The battery compartment was slightly larger than expected, but remember that it hold 3 AAA batteries. Please note batteries are not included with this product. I love how bright is the light, as the light is not hot at all - and it's really low price. The clip works well, it has enough tension to keep both the Kindle or Kindle case. It's a little glare, but the light can be re-positioned with a light blow with his hand, to reduce them. I have several tracks of light and this was the best thing I heard!

Rating: 1Summary: Doesn't work!
I received this light with my Kindle for Christmas. It is ready for the trash! The lights are not always on. I play with him in order to get them together. After a while they do not light up the page anymore! Give me a Itty Bitty light at any time - you may need to once in the onions, while the others, but it still works!

Rating: 5Summary: excellent
This is the best book light I've ever seen. It is bright enough, even when only one of the lights on. It is flexible, so you do so can be used pretty much every position. It clips to ignite even with a lid, and it is versatile. Last night I had it as a light source and replaces the convection fan in my pellet stove ....

Rating: 4Summary: Excellent & Versatile Book/Kindle Light but bulky
I have with my new Mighty Bright Clip-on for about three weeks. The construction is solid and robust. It works well with my Amazon K2 leather by folding the front cover to back and clipping on the front and back sides at the same time. It is a little bulky, but the lighting and flexible neck operation of the LED package, are excellent. The two light settings are convenient, because I will find the low setting for night reading Kindle abundant. In addition, this light and a small flashlight and a desk lamp / night light works. (if you have a shelf above the desk area) It's good price makes it an excellent value. The only reason why I do not give, it was a perfect "5" because it is not designed to be harmoniously integrated into the cover K2 w configuration. There is another element in circulation in the bag with the Kindle, but I'll get a lot for the use of good in this light. The frustration, the free packaging was nice as well. (I wish that every retailer * * did that.)

Excellent quality of light. Dual light levels - the lowest is great for reading in many environments. Use "regular, common" batteries. Non-mar and scratch the Kindle. Very nicely done.

Rating: 4Summary: Fairly well pleased with this purchase...
I'd buy something like this light for my Kindle, as I have read in the night, how very, very late and do not want that to light by my bed while my husband is asleep. This light is much brighter than other mini-lights that I bought in the past. He bends well and allows me to where I want it. The clip is attached well to the Kindle, and you can put aside so that you can turn on and off the Kindle.
My main concern is complaint I have had problems getting to work both lights at once. You can see only light, but it is annoying not to have both lights worked. Moreover, there was a chance that the lights would not have been on at all, but I am subject to appeal.

Rating: 4Summary: Gave it as a gift, and they love it!
I did this as a Christmas present, as it appears on their list. I was a little worried about the ratings on the system this time around (was 50%, and hated the rest). I told her to keep me informed. She gives lots of light, adapts itself, where she wants it, and she has no problems like others with the switch.

Rating: 3Summary: Glare is the most significant problem
In general, I would like the quality of the product, but what I did not like was the glare. Unfortunately for eReaders that are not their own light, all the reading lights have a glare. I think that is the biggest problem. But it can for the paper-based books, which seems to work better, be used.

Rating: 5Summary: Glowing Review
I like this clip-on light. It is much easier to read, because everywhere the light shines directly on the page, without glare. I love the flexibility to move the light, only the angles that I need to. It has 2 levels of brightness, but I tend to use only the brightest book. I would recommend it.

Rating: 5Summary: Good accessory for Kindle

Rating: 3Summary: Good idea, not so great design
I love my Kindle, and as with a clip-on light. This is not specifically designed for a Kindle and it took a while to get used to it. My biggest complaint is the on / off switch. I like my Kindle carry with me if I am for the day. I turned off the light, fold it over the cover and put it in my pocket tote. The light switch is very sensitive. When the light touches something in my pocket, it turns and a few hours later, I'm stuck with a very low light conditions. If you never take your Kindle anywhere, it would be a nice light, but who needs a Kindle, when it comes to your bedside table to sit all day? In any case, designed a better light.

Rating: 5Summary: Good Kindle Light
The only thing I dislike about the Kindle is that it does not have a backlight. Mighty Bright solved this problem. Some reviews said that it will not fit on the Kindle, but I have no problems. The light is bright and makes reading very pleasant.

Rating: 1Summary: good light - bad switch
The light itself is good, but the switch is located so that it is an off-and if it comes in contact, do with something so that you can not pack up and carry him. It is a great product to leave in one place, but not for the packaging or on the road with. I expect that it will not take long because it is always when I try to take it with me, because there is no way to avoid contact with the on and off too.

I use the Mighty Bright for more than my Kindle. It has good lighting and is easy to use for each book and my Kindle. The compact design and flexibility makes it easy to pack and transport in each bag. I must add that the ON / OFF not on the first Mighty light switch works. Amazon made an exchange - no questions asked - before I get the faulty one in the mail to return lost. I was impressed and were very satisfied with the light and the service.

Rating: 2Summary: Good Lighting - Bad Construction
I bought this light to an older LED light, the book was to replace broken. After 4 years of use, the old light began to come between on / off / dim because (I assume) the wiring change. I had high hopes for this light because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, the first time I have this light, I experienced the same dimming / on / off effect. It always happens when I position the light again. I suspect that either the wiring to the LED lamp or the battery is not real solid. This drives me crazy. Every time I have a page I need to fiddle with the light. Not fun.
The size of the beam of light from an LED is good for small books. I will sometimes read disseminate large computer programming books and the light is not large enough to cover both sides of the book. This leads me to fiddle with the light even more, which leads to frustration because of the dimming effect. I prefer my older 3 LED light. I had more light output and the spread was greater. This was partly due to the fact that it had a telescopic head, so I was not higher than from the pages of Mighty Bright light.
I would probably recommend this light if it were not for dimming / on / off problem. I think built in search of a better light.

Rating: 1Summary: Good Product But Not For The Kindle
Two problems: 1 The weight of the required 3 AAA batteries and the clip to make it unusable with the Kindle. Do not get me wrong - the product itself is very good. I love the twin LED lights and the ability to use one or two lights, as needed. I also love the flexible, sinuous neck. But the product is too heavy. Another type of battery, batteries, or less, would resolve this problem.
2. The clip is great for the Kindle. There is not enough space on the upper edges of the Kindle for handle of the clip.
I have the choice to return the light and trying a different brand.

Rating: 4Summary: Good product, BUT great amazon service, it worked.
The light works well for Kindle to my wife. The only thing is I do not understand from other reviews that the clip, as some hides or covers key?. My wife is just the clip on the cover ... easy.
The biggest thing is that the first one we received was inadequate. I went through the return with Amazon and found that is fantastic. It's all automated and step by step guides you through it no phone calls. I have the replacement of two days after I returned to the defect. Amazon I am a man, good location, good prices. They got their stuff together.

Rating: 5Summary: Great for books! I don't own a Kindle.
I have no card reader but I needed a really good book light and the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 (Kindle version does not disappoint). This is the best book light I ever heard. It offers a clean bright light with more than enough coverage. It works well every kind of book, heavy and bulky hard for texts on the small soft cover books. The grip is wonderful and works great when reading magazines. I even clip it on my laptop in order to better see the keyboard in the night. This book light requires three AAA batteries, not included, so make sure that some on hand. I guess, is made of how well the product has the light of a simple push of a button on to turn it off on or off and adjust the light. This book light is very flexible and has no problems remain the same. Since I do not even a Kindle, I can only recommend this as the best book ever / reading light!

Rating: 1Summary: Great for books, not good for Kindle
I use a Mighty Brite for books and bought another for my Kindle because I thought somehow it was different engineering or something, it would be better with the screen. It is exactly the same light except for a tiny pad on the part of the clips on the screen. The light itself is complicated to make, in order to slip the clip and there is such a glare on the screen that you can not read the words without the movement of the light escape from the screen. Type ridiculous. You should not with this light as a solution for the Kindle.

Rating: 4Summary: Great for reading at night.
This is a very decent device for reading in dark places. if they could do something about the bulkiness and weight of the batteries, then it would be perfect. Also, it seems that lasts after changing the batteries it for a while before the second LED powers. I'm not sure why this is so, but once it has booted up all right.
Advantages: The light has three settings, Off, two LEDs and an LED. Blue and white LEDs output by a bright light, which provides an excellent contrast between the page and the text available.
Cons: The battery is a bit bulky because of three AAA batteries, but is not so bad.

Rating: 4Summary: Great for Travel
This is for the trip, when the available light is not bright enough to be perfect or you do not want to disturb others. I love the focus, bright light. The only flaw is that it's easy to accidentally turn it on when the on / off buttons are located on the tip of the light. I have to pack carefully to avoid pressure on the keys and ran down the batteries

The little light is perfect for lighting Kindle. It has 2 levels of brightness, and although seems to be the dimmer setting is very low, you should see it in a completely dark room! Rating: 5Summary: great light for Kindle 1 and 2
My husband and I each have this light ... I made it for my Kindle 1 and he has for his 2nd Kindle It clips very simple - we have kindled in our M-edge leather covers. I like that I turn and catch the light in the interior of the spine of the book and close it ... very compact.
Yes, this is a little light shine on the Kindle screen, but you have to play only with the Positioning a bit and the problem is solved. I have personally tried a few different lights and they all do it, I believe that you always have this issue with putting, when it might deal a Kindle screen. No big deal but!
Love the two levels of light ... I use it on low and I think it is very bright.
Ideal for every book buy ... Kindle Reader or paperback!

Rating: 5Summary: Great light for the DX!
This light is better than I ever hoped it would. It is bright enough to cover the entire screen dx, also on the low setting. In fact, I read with him on the lowest setting. When properly adjusted, there is no screen glare. I have other reviewers comments about the problems with the m-edge coverage of the major DX-screen. While the Mighty Bright does not save in my m-edge case, another thing which I greatly recommend it not be nice clip on the pocket of my case and is easily adjustable to any angle. It requires three AAA batteries, but leads to significant weight as I read none. Make sure you buy the right one for your ignited. You will not be disappointed.

This light is excellent. Careful planning and there is a wide spread of light (and do not identify as "spot" light), it is easier to read. Good brightness, but it works on batteries rather eat fast with a good amount of use. But for me it is worth. Recommended.

The light is bright enough to read in a completely dark room. It has two settings - you can only use one or two LEDs. I use usually is, but it may be too bright for some, in this case, 1 LED would be nice work. It is sometimes glare off the screen of the Kindle, but it is possible to adjust it to an angle that both lights on the device and does not glow, which only takes a little practice.
My only complaint is that the clip is somewhat unwieldy, as the batteries go in, but this is actually a minor role. I can still put my Kindle down on a flat surface with the supplied light and easy to read from it.

This is just perfect for my Kindle. I guess it AAA batteries which should last a lot longer than the batteries can see it often takes to the use of LEDs. I have not tried it with a book, and I'm not sure it would work for a magazine. The best thing for a magazine of the LED headlamps, the campers and caving, which is the best all round reading light.

Rating: 5Summary: Great Little Light
I bought this for my Kindle, but only to make it to the use that a few times. I also able to use it on my laptop keyboard and I love it for both. With a beautiful, compact design, this is a perfect little accessory.
The clips are lightly padded, so they do not scratch the surface when I cut them off on the laptop. With the Kindle I grab the light is the case. The switch is easy to use and well placed. The lights are just right to provide the illumination for Kindle to my laptop screen or keyboard. The flexible arm is slim and easy to adjust the position of the lights.
Overall I am very satisfied with this powerful little light.

Rating: 4Summary: Great practical product... Not without flaws though
I have a lot of research before a second light to my Kindle I did it mainly so I could read in bed at night without annoying my partner. The construction of the light seems solid, the "neck" is strong and will remain in position, what you do in it. The light does its job, ie lighting up the surface of the Kindle. It is interesting that some of the strengths of this product are also the most important error-this thing is bright ... I mean, really look rosy. If you are buying this as not to disturb anyone sleeping next to you, can only be aware that this creates a lot of ambient light.
Pros:
Robust construction
Uses AAA batteries (no need to have some strange batteries in the store)
White LED light (long life time, not to change the bulbs, minimal battery drain, etc.)
Scratches not ignite or fall because of a "Perfect" Felt like material under the clamps
Strong clamps
It does what it should
Two brightness levels (1 or 2 LED LEDs)
Cons:
The lower brightness setting is still very bright (which can be disturbing for other bed sleepers)
It's a bit bulky (because of the three AAA batteries)
All in all, I am glad I bought this light for my Kindle. If you're a night owl who like to read before you may go to sleep, it makes the night reading easy and enjoyable. I wish they would be a third to create a lower brightness setting. My bedroom is small, but the light on low setting all lights in the room. I never use the high setting ... I think it is much too bright. Just as well you could turn a lamp on IMO. I was also concerned that the clip would be awkward on the Kindle or scratch myself or kindle leather case, since it does not seem to be specifically for Kindle. The clip fits very nicely on the right or left side, and it also clips on the back of my leather.

Rating: 5Summary: great product
After reading countless reviews on various book lights, I opted for this type. My decision on complaints from others who purchased the "other" light may not, based on / off switch or amount of light delivered. Although this does not work in my case, I like the quality of it, so that it works for me. If u want your screen well lit, this is the place for you. The low setting is a lot. I've seen other reviews complaining about the amount of batteries (3), but I think that a trade-off is for the amount of lighting. It is easy to clip on my TUFF LUV leather, and certainly wants to stay. And easily open the packaging is great! I recommend this product, and I think you will not be disappointed if you decided to be there, too. Happy reading!

Rating: 5Summary: Great Quality, A Must Have Kindle Accessory!
I read the review before buying this light and looks normal, no frills light. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package from Amazon and started to use the Mighty Bright - Now I'm in my new reading light and can not believe I waited so long before buying it! Ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing is the Mighty Bright. The Mighty Bright is a great little light for the price, it is stylish, durablesturdy, flexible and naturally shiny. I was, how well designed the light and was amazed at how powerful the lights. Kindle clip on my well, and it is easily adapted to find the lamp, the perfect lighting. The lamp has a groove on the top of the finger with the lamp's head gently to the left and right, a great feature considering that in my experience the most inexpensive lamp a firm head and you can only use Pivot Move your neck. The $ 20 I spent on this background has bought me hours of reading at night, in the car, a dimly lit doctor's office, everywhere. I'm not sure about receiving the products, which often excited, but I am so encouraged that I am the light now - I can read whenever I want, anywhere, anytime! If you plopped the money to buy your Kindle in the first place, it makes sense to spend a few more bucks to get a reading lamp on. This way you are with your Kindle to the fullest whenever and wherever you want.

I needed a portable LED lamp that I could use while reading an actual book / textbook in the dark. That should be small and at the same time be able to cover the entire textbook. I like the light. It took a while to figure out how to open the battery compartment. The light is bright and the stand is very easy. However, if you pack it into a bag and the light turns fairly easily if you do not want it to. It would help to have a built-in device to prevent it burning out that your battery if you are not aware of the light is turned on. I constantly monitor the light in my hand luggage, make sure it is not illuminated.
Other than that, does what it should be at a good price.

I bought this light, together with the M-Edge Platform Kindle Genuine Leather Jacket (Fits 6 "display, Kindle New Generation), Purple Pebble. They work perfectly together, I simply Expand the coverage of the M-edge, and Clip Light on it.
Features that I love:
- The neck of the light is incredibly flexible. I can get them in the perfect position for your read on my Kindle every time.
- The light is bright! I can not believe how big it is. You can click on it to a light one-or two, depending on the brightness you want. There seems to be directed to (due to the angle you) in, etc ... it bothers my husband if I did on her bed, because I can jump on my screen target, but it was incredibly easy to light up the room when our power went the second night.
- He regularly takes AAA batteries
Possible disadvantages:
- I have not run into any issues yet, but I was not too thrilled with the cost of the light. It's been worth it, but

I must say, this is my favorite book of the two lights that I bought for my 2nd Kindle It covers the screen very well and with two brightness options is very helpful when I read in complete darkness in the middle of the night. My only complaints are the neck and bulkiness. The neck is not very stable and seems to adjustments in the reading for a long time to take advantage. I'm glad that I have a cover that on the clip as it is bulky and the best light for the placement would be to cover the Home button. These are the only reason it will be a 4 out of 5 stars, but for the quality of light it will be a 5!

Rating: 1Summary: It seemed okay at first . . .
I ordered the Mighty Bright light with the Kindle and the case. It was so that I assumed it must be supported the best light for the Kindle, and was made specifically for the Kindle. Another lesson in assumptions. It was annoying to use: difficult, hard to find a good place to find it on clip, pain, travel, and I spent a lot of time to adjust the position so I could see the whole page. But I told myself that since it was made for the Kindle, I just had not yet shown the secret.
Then I turned on one night and after a few minutes I noticed the lights dim to use up to the point where I could not read. I thought it is time to replace the batteries, so I did. The new battery worked the first night, but the second night they started dimming the same way after a few minutes to use. At that time I had decided that was not right for me this light, even if it for the Kindle (I'm still gullible and thought about how the Kindle was made official Light). So I started with a light that came with a Snuggie, and found that much better. And is free.
I have my Kindle when I was sleeping on a flight, and it seems my lap slipped. So I bought a new one, and received an M-Edge Cover as a gift. And then I have the M-edge e-Luminator, which is absolutely wonderful (ordered and remains plugged into the case, so is perfect for traveling). Mighty Bright My experience has taught me to never assume (though I thought I had already learned), my airline experience has taught me to bring my Kindle back in my hand luggage before going to sleep, and my M-Edge article has taught me that it is possible to accurately find the right products for me.

Rating: 5Summary: It's just the just right light.
- Batteries. It takes 3 AAA batteries (not included). For me, with AAAS was a selling point, as some of the other lights on Kindles used batteries, which I am not likely to have focused around the house. What type lasts longer? Who knows. But for me, I would prefer a device that I will have easy access to batteries.
- People care so dazzling lights. Yes - if you are heading in a certain way, there is a heck of a glare. However, I am with a flip-case. I just cut to the side on the case, then tilt the light itself in a way that there is no glare at all. It's all about how you position them. Of course, if you angle the light right across the screen, it is to think - do not do that you'll be good.
- Is there enough coverage for my screen? Is it bright enough? I can not speak for others, of course - but for me? Yes and yes. I have a K2. It lights up my whole screen and it is lit easily enough, even with only one lamp. My Mighty Bright came just as the sun went down, I have not had to light the interior so it was not nearly bright enough to read here. I was very pleased. The room I read very little light and so need only one of the lamps in turn, that tells me it's bright enough. Would it be bright enough or wide enough for a DX? I can not say as I do not have access to one, I suspect it might cut it close to perfect but it's also for the K2. Maybe if you really can with the right angle with two lamps, perhaps.
- The clip. It is as small as it can be given that it holds 3 AAA batteries. The largest part is, of course, on the back where the batteries. The front of the clip is, I think, just the right size to fit on the upper side of the Kindle. How embarrassing it would be on a bare Kindle, I do not know. I let myself in one case, and would prefer that things do not clip onto the Kindle itself. I suspect it works best with cases, but I'm sure if you work your Kindle naked, well it would be obvious if you leave less scope, where you could clip and therefore how many you can spot the angle of light would.
- The on / off button. Yes, it's easy on and off. Only a light touch. This could be a problem if you have to travel to pack up, etc. However, I pressed it against my leg while sitting on a chair against it. Activate Despite how easy it is, given the way the button is seated, it was not quite so easy to just lean against it to activate it, as it is, press it to turn it on. So assuming that you had to pack it correctly, that the probability that it turned on / off during the journey are slim. Plus, you simply remove the batteries in such situations and get your party started.
I have not long enough to see how well it holds long-term or to determine the battery. Think we'll see. But, it's been perfect for what I needed it - a light that shines I really Kindle. Under the assumption that they will not fall apart in the foreseeable future, it think it 5 / 5 rating.

This particular light had received very good reviews for its brightness and switch, but she seemed a bit bulky and intrusive in comparison to other offers. The other light could be seen that I was covered in a particular Kindle, the (integrated beautifully but I did) not have their own IT, and had received weaker reviews on the light quality. Excellent light for the Kindle. Since the Kindle screen is not illuminated, the light makes reading on it so much easier at night or in a dimly lit room. The light can also be used to locate lost objects in confined spaces or shine in a narrow range of the engine compartment of your car when you perform a repair or maintenance work. Excellent product for an excellent price! Until the Kindle screen with backlight, which is definitely a must-have accessory.

I bought this book on the advice of one of my friends who also just bought a 2nd Kindle The base is sprung and padded, so it is not what it clipped to damage. The base is a bit on the large side considering how slim the Kindle. The flex of the neck seems fine, you should not, therefore, positioning issues so not read the actual light head in the path. Moreover, there are two options available. The first click turns the unit and is very bright with two LEDs. A second button turns off an LED and displays a little. In my mind it's still light enough to read in this setting. Well, if they could just make that base of small and rechargeable.

Since the Kindle is designed to look like a printed page, there is no backlight (when was the last time saw was a book that backlit the sides?). This means that the reading required in the night light. I did my research and bought the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2. It clips on the Kindle where I want to it, and keeps very well. The "neck" is flexible, which makes it easy to make the light over the Kindle position and storage easier. The two LED light lets me adjust only for the amount of light that I need to read. The only thing I want to see changed the color - I have a black Kindle and would prefer a white Mighty Bright.

Rating: 4Summary: Mighty Great Nighttime Reading Light
I like this clip-on reading light for the following reasons:
* The clip-on light makes this arrangement adaptable to various types of Kindle covers / cases and old-fashioned books (remember the lumbering creatures?).
* LEDs, not bulbs.
* Two LED brightness settings allow a reader to adjust for available light conditions.
* Flexible neck allows a reader, the light, the angle is adopted so that to avoid any glare.
* Clip is padded, so no harm done for a Kindle case.
One thing that I do not like:
* The cause requires three AAA batteries for long lasting shine, is the lower half of the light that contains the three batteries, the weight of a slight imbalance as you read (so you have to keep the case only so).

Rating: 1Summary: Mighty...Not so Bright
I was thrilled to receive Kindle this Christmas and 3 weeks later, the Mighty Brite XtraFlex2 Clip On Light to go with her for my birthday. I took it out of the box, put in the required 3 AAA batteries and was very pleased with how much light this little thing and share their satisfaction. I am in many situations where I am in low light surroundings and try to spend time reading on my Kindle too. This matter went to help a ton in such situations!
I used it one evening for about 2 hours, put away, put it on my bedside table and fell asleep. I went to return the next day, only to find that it works for some reason, no more!? WTF? I turned it off, so that the batteries are just fine (and yes, I double checked just in case). Did not overly flex the neck of the case. It does not work.
Wait, scratch that randomly come on for no reason at all, when I pressed the button to turn it on, but I have no way to tell if I have done this or not, because they are not on the right side to come forth, it turns on only when it feels like it, I think. And work only 1 of the 2 lights.
So take that for what you want. I think the majority of people have luck with it and I may have a faulty device, but out of the box 2 hours worth of use before he dropped dead to me just is not worth my time or money. Send them back, will try something else.

While I can give it higher star ratings for individual attributes, I have to give a 1-star general. I bought this light to travel, so that I could not read books in hotel rooms to wake up and my family. The ON / OFF on the back of the light switch is so sensitive, it will turn with the slightest bump. I have every type of folding, it is trying, but nothing hides the ON / OFF switch ever uttered. I have 2 and ignite in that light. This is not to light the perfect light than some other people have claimed in their reviews. It clips on the side of my ignition and if, in laying on my side the light comes from all the time.It is also where I take my ignite or to go to another room or leave it, move to do something. I also have a great fear that the scratches on the side of my kindle, but since I have a decalgirl their skin is not so bad. Ill just to replace my skin in the future when all of its scratched. It takes quite a while to get the angle just right, so I do not get stared at a dazzling jump out of the light blub. The neck of the light always want to rotate, so I have to keep diverting back. The hard to store and weights a lot. The light is not easy to lose, because it is so big. It is a great light for reading a book through, but for the Kindle Id give 1 star. The light itself is wonderful, but the location of the on-off switch is terrible. It must be somewhere else to be applied to the product or at least a film or something instead of a push button. The way it is an on / off switch is too easy to accidentally-yy (burning again) by batteries while it is not used.
I can not tell you how many times since I bought the light that I have pulled my suitcase or laptop bag and found them to and / or my battery is empty.
This part of the product design is poor. Looking for a more secure location for the button or alternative method for powering the light / the light is always turned on accidentally.

Hey crew ... KINDLE
be a great SKIP all lights, clip on the Kindle. It really is the reading experience to interrupt, to bring all balance.

The battery compartment cover keeps slipping,
so I had it on tape. Only one other device with Futz.
I'm traveling in Southeast Asia and my Kindle is essential for the long terminal waits, bus and plane rides, etc.
What should I do?
I had fixed the real Kindle low-to-NO-light reading mystery at hand: a spotlight on the head. This "miner's headlamp"
are widely available and runs on several AAA or AA batteries. Comfortable and adjustable for easy reading.

My husband is sleeping peacefully beside me no matter how I participate with my book. I used to light up this book as hate because it never really stopped for the left side and right side, plus if you are the page that you created in the clip ... very annoying to adjust. But with the Kindle, all of this, of course a problem. It is not as compact as other lamps for travel and storage of data on the bedsed table, but the positives far outweigh any negatives. I recommend this product you get when you are in doubt.

Rating: 5Summary: Reading made easier with Mighty Bright
I was not sure how the light like Kindle, but it was so cheap that it is worth the speculation. Hooray, now I'm free, I would like to sit around reading my Kindle and not dependent on light in the room. Plus there are no additional light in the room, which might annoy others. It also makes travel by plane a lot easier, so I rely not on the ceiling lights that are never quite enough. It is not a little glory on the screen, but it is easy enough to turn the corner, so you get a reflection.

Rating: 1Summary: returned light because of defective switch
I got this light as a gift, along with my new Kindle. I already have a regular bright light could book and found it reliable and useful. I expected to like. It has to work a size clip with my Kindle cover, it has two bulbs for a good brightness.
The ON / OFF switch on the light differently than my regular mighty bright book bought a year or more ago. My old, which has worked well a switch, slide back and forth.
This has a push button, and it is maddening. Sometimes when I try to turn the light on nothing happens. Sometimes the light not to come but minutes later! I have succeeded only once, lit both lamps. The shutdown is turned off only. It's not just me. My husband and a friend can not not work the switch.
I can not recommend this light!

Rating: 1Summary: Rip-Off
In less than 1 years, this position is literally eaten a fortune in batteries. I had battery acid out of the housing 8 times in the 11 months that I have owned this product clean. When new batteries are used, it is okay, but there are one or two hours and white battery acid will flow normally from the housing.
I Energizer, Duracell ... also a battery charger with a set of rechargeable batteries with the same result tried.
Buy at your own risk. In the meantime, I'm looking for a new book light.

Rating: 5Summary: Simple, functional, no real problems (when used with Kindle)
I pretty much agree here with the consensus of the reviews. My only comments on common themes are ...
Grip: The grip could be a little stronger, but I'm not really a problem () with a Kindle, both with and without cover. If the grip were all stronger, I suppose some people would complain that it is open to strong (ie difficult for big things, or they could be clamped on the device, or slightly damaged), so it's okay.
Weight / compactness: Without jumping for more expensive batteries, seems in any case about as good as it's done.

As a frequent traveler, I have searched and a light for all occasions that can be attached to a book, and my Kindle. This works perfectly, does not waver, and maintains a paperback book and my Kindle. I am impressed with the packaging too. I did not have to struggle to open the box. Great job Amazon.

Rating: 5Summary: Surprisingly good!
I do not usually review products on Amazon, but I think the light is a few words worth. I like this thing.
The light has two brightness levels, which is good since the brighter setting is too intense for reading in pitch blackess! I use it sometimes in the morning when the curtains are still closed. The dim setting is just right for the night reading.
The light itself is very evenly distributed in a way is pleasant to read, and I've probably used it for 20-30 hours to go so far without replacing the batteries. And, yes, it takes three of them.
My only complaint is that it clearly does not fit is designed to ignite in a special way. It's called the "Kindle Version" so I guess I expected something with more built-in style or form. But it clips comfortably and the lamp head is easily adjusted so that it is not so much reason to complain:).

Rating: 5Summary: This light is very functional and works well with Kindle and others
I bought this light to use with my Kindle. Originally designed for aesthetics, I wanted to go with the M-edge, which has a suitable light, but unfortunately I had the Amazon Kindle Kindle and the standard leather upholstery as a gift, so I have not been preserved.
I must say I am glad that I got that light (and cover for that matter). I usually just clip to the lid and not on the Kindle for fear of scratches or damage to the Kindle screen. FYI-position, if you come out of the center and angle the light from the side, you can eliminate the appearance of your screen to Kindle.
What really impressed me was the other one uses, I have the ability to find the light. It also works well as a clip on light for your laptop when you are working in the dark / at night. The clip is large enough to be fairly versatile, what you as an attachment to them. You can even just as a flashlight when you are groping around in the night-time from your bed.
The light is pretty bright on the highest setting, but also bright enough to be on the lowest setting, which is what I read in general conserve the battery too. The neck of the light is very flexible, and what position you hold it in well.
Overall this is a solid product that feels well-made and works great as a reading light for the Kindle or a laptop.

I am very happy with the purchase of the Mighty Bright. If you use the Kindle then the big one is at night while reading. I wish I had it from the outset for the purchase of my Kindle. It is easy to use and is very compact. Thanks for the inspiration for this product for my Kindle.

So this it means the Mighty Bright task, but I feel the light is too bright and shrill. Even by clicking it twice only get one bulb is lit, it is too light for me. It serves the purpose, but I feel like after a while I get headaches that would not likely come when the lights were subdued. If you're a little light they seek is not for you. Everything else about the light is great. It is compact, easy to use, bends nicely and easily. I looked at the buyig kandl light on my Kindle, it seems less shrill.

Rating: 2Summary: Turns on in luggage and briefcase
I got a Kindle and Mighty Bright for Christmas, so I'm not a long time the individual user. I asked her because I have a new job that have to travel a lot, and given the airline restrictions in a position to 1,500 pounds in a small package, is tempting. The light is great for reading in dark areas, and I even got a free dessert at an Italian restaurant in the center of the city because of "my cute little light." However, I have twice come home to discover that the light on, of course, if encountered in my luggage or briefcase. I can not imagine that the battery is good, and it's funny to open the overhead compartment on an eerie appearance. I love the ease of use, but somehow they want in such a way that the on-off had to be a bit more deliberate or be better protected.

Rating: 5Summary: Two Reviews in One!! One Review for Kindle Users, One Review for Printed Book Users!!
My God! 1459 reviews and counting! For a skinny little book light!
You see, I read books regularly, no e-books with all their restrictions and limitations. That's why I was looking for a decent light. I took the EXTRAFLEX 2 at Fry's Electronics as an impulse item while waiting in line at the checkout stand, price at $ 12.99.
I hate to say this to Kindle users, but you've had.
I took my $ 12.99 EXTRAFLEX 2 and carefully compared them with each other with every photo of the so-called "Kindle" version, and it looks exactly the same. You can use the Mighty Bright website [...]
and you see your lamp there for less - direct from the manufacturer, for $ 16.99. You can at Fry's website [...]
and look under "Book of Light" and see $ 12.99 EXTRAFLEX 2 there.
Now there "may" something internal that does not show in a photo, but be real, they are equal. I seriously doubt that a real "Kindle" version is available. At first I thought that the extra dollar or 3, or (7 euros) bought the power supply, but the name for the "Kindle Version" does not mention anything extra.
So here's what I'm thinking: trusting Amazon Kindle users paid extra for a regular old book light and show the negative opinions that many are happy. They should not be happy. The case clips very well, a book, but I wonder about using a Kindle. But the Kindle should really have their own built-in LED backlight or something. It's silly to all who pay the dough for an e-reader, not even self-illuminating. But then electronic book reader would still have a long way to go before I would buy a come anyway, so I am not a fair reviewer I admit here on the Kindle. Check out all the pissed off Kindle users of the popular book "The Big Bonus. The publisher refused to make an edition of Kindle (updated: March 29, 2010). That's what can happen. Be warned.
I think Amazon Kindle uses of loyal users by labeling them as "Kindle Version" and jacking up the price. I looked around and see other lights now called "Kindle Compatible" or "for Kindle" (see Great Point Light Flex Neck Clip-On, which I bought) some years ago at Barnes and Noble as a regular printed book light. I get it. You take an old product and re-label it by the word "Kindle" in the new name, and presto! Sales go up!
Previously, I had a pretty high opinion of Amazon, but now I have to lower it a few notches. I wonder what's lurking out there that will re-labeled and overpriced? I wonder if the Kindle is really such a success, after all - if Amazon is trying to make extra bucks to cover for losses by fooling Kindle fans. It is said that publishes a lot of new technology is a loss for the producers at first (think game consoles), but later they are very profitable. Perhaps this is what happens to Amazon. Perhaps develop the new Dell line reader and Amazon Kindle may drop.
The frustration-free packaging may allow (Amazon, remove or avoid) the actual retail box, which shows in the print shop, whether the product is really a Kindle-specific version, or it would not.
Who can tell me, show me a reasonable evidence that this "Kindle version is" different from the less expensive at Frys or Mighty Bright site, then I will withdraw this review. But I doubt that there seem any real difference, and the other reviews this support.
REAL review under
Whoa!
Forgot With all the anger Kindle, I have to check this little book LIGHT for printed books, that it was developed.
I have by the day (use hee hee) for over a month and there are no deficiencies exist.
I have over 5 book lights and it took that many figure out, what you should do a good (print) book light.
This Mighty Bright EXTRAFLEX 2 meets the criteria:
1) Did have a decent spread and brightness. My other lights had to be constantly adjusted and focused on each side, and again for top and bottom of each page. The 4 adjustments for each side to turn - much too much fiddling with the light and also a distraction from the act of reading is. This EF2 lighting illuminates both sides evenly. If anything, it can be a little too light for reading in bed next to a sleeping significant other. The two settings you can dim the lights a little, but I would even like a dimmer option. Some of the new Mighty Bright models actually a dimmer, so you can fine-tune the brightness you want, but I have not tried that one yet - it further.
2) If the regular daily use batteries (AAAS preferred). The other lights need expensive button cells or lithium batteries, and I spent several times the cost of the lamps on batteries alone. And button cells are harder to find, too. Too much hassling with batteries. Rechargeable AAAS available, it solves this problem, the battery. I would prefer to only 2 instead of 3 AAAS. Then, the base would be smaller and not so difficult, but that was only one small problem.
3) is reasonably small and robust, and clamp well. The largest part is a little more than I (thickness), such as, but not too bad. It stowed OK, but it's a bit long and skinny, so it might have to carry a small box I had to be logged on the cover on / off switch with a small plastic bottle over the lamp so that you keep it from turning itself into the backpack.
Overall, it is the best thing I've found (for printed books) and the price is lower (at Frys or Mighty Bright) than some others.

Rating: 4Summary: Very Good Product
The light for your Kindle is worth it. The only comment that I is on the negative side, it can cause a harsh light on the screen. However, is that by the fact that their light stem cells turn into any position can be mitigated.
Great features are: It remains in force - does not shake when you are moving, there are two levels of light to choose.
Over all, I would recommend this product. It allows you to read wherever you are and not disturb others.

It clips right on my screen Kindle, without blocking. It does not use 3 AAA batteries included. 2 LED lights with a push-button switches with a click of the 2 LED light (brightness), another click turns from 1 LED light with just under 1 LED light is lit (bright but) not so bright another click turns it off. Very helpful and a great product, if the additional light is needed.

Rating: 3Summary: Will eventual break due to pressure
Although I now buy my THIRD Mighty-Bright unit, it is because if it works, it is the best book light I have ever used. But the problem with the Mighty-Bright is the clip:
If you are the different images of this device (see above) you will see a big gap on the inside of the clip. The constant pressure of the (very strong) spring causes the clip to snap right at its weakest point.
It will take several months, and I love it when it works, but one day it will yield to the laws of physics and the small, weak bridge is reduced to the as the previous units.
So, be warned: very easy, but only as long as it lasts. Break it.
The light can be powerful, but the clip can hold only so long.

Rating: 5Summary: With a quick modification - the PERFECT night reader!
Read in bed ~ 30 years and have always a red light bulb in my bedside table - nice use for the eyes, PerServer "Night Vision", and has no impact on my wife slept beside me.
The DX and this light, together with a quick, 5 minute modification, it is the perfect night-reading system.
All that you need is a small Philips screwdriver and a small rectangle of red transparent cello wrapping paper.
Remove the screw from the back of the head lamp, take the lamp and lens system, your narrow Cello place over the hole for the lens. Re-insert-lens camera bulb, screw lid back on and Voila!, The perfect night lite!
I've been using this system since 27 December - two days after I had my DX. And the bonus is it seems to work better on LOW, thus saving batteries!

Rating: 5Summary: Wonderful product!
This is a wonderful product. It is everything it promises, it would. It is very light, flexible and easy to use. You can choose a light or two light blub on Blubs at a time. If I am forced to think about everything, it would complain to:
1. The Might Bright is a bit heavy.
2. The Might Bright is a harsh light on the screen of the Kindle for, it must be situated so that does not happen.
As a personal side, if I'm not traveling with this product, I can honestly say that I am not looking forward to do. The bulkiness of the product does not make me look forward to packing it along with my various other accessories, that is, chargers for my cell, and of course my Kindle. But I think it's better than packing heavy books. ;)

I love my Kindle. This light should be the perfect complement for a great product. He bought it weeks before the holiday as a gift for me and very happy to use it.
It worked great - once. Then he died. Tried new batteries, tried to shake the old ". Pushed buttons (sometimes it actually came a second) But all in all - dead past, and of course right of return.
Do you have a different brand. It works fine. Was not as nice as this would be, but it works.

Rating: 4Summary: Worth the money
The only problem with this clip on light for my Kindle is the clip is a bit bigger than comfortable. This clip works well, but I wish it was a little smaller. That is the only aspect of this light that I would change. I've used it for a month or so. So far, so good work with two settings for brightness. I use it on the less light to save battery life. The flexible arm allows easy placement of the bulb to eliminate glare on the Kindle screen.
=== Review #256 ===
Rating: 4Summary: Would be perfect if it were a little more streamlined.
This clip-on light is a great accessory for my new Kindle2, and it is certainly useful for reading in bed at night without your partner. I like the quality of light and the battery life is very good. My only quibble is the relative size of the part that clips on the Kindle. I think it could be simplified quite a bit so that it comfortably between my Kindle cover and the Kindle fit. I also wonder whether a redesign is to make it easier to store could be. I am always afraid that bending can cause the winding part to break it. However, this is a very useful and high quality product, and I'm glad I did.
