Summary: Charges faster than the original charger!

Great charger, exactly what I was looking for. I needed a second charger so I thought I would try it ... it loads faster than the original Amazon charger! I ran the battery up to a half-time fee as how fast it is fully charged the Kindle. I tested it several times, the Gomadic pay each time faster. Works as advertised and they have a lifetime warranty!

Summary: Simple product, does what it says
My first Kindle came with an adapter to allow plugging the USB cable to connect to an outlet. When he died a week later I had to return it, and the replacement Kindle does not have this adapter. If this second Kindle died a week later as well, I found that has the third Kindle not the plant. The power cable works great, although I no basis to say whether it is "faster" than the Kindle charging socket adapter, but it is simply faster than USB charging cable.
