Summary: Avoid this generic/unbranded unit
I have this new white charger quick trip home last 4th February. While in the U.S. use the device (connected to work 110VAC/60Hz socket) was double. I am now) in Asia (February 11, where the power is 240VAC/50Hz. After plugging it in with my Kindle 2, saw it first as well with red LED "on" (and yellow LED on the Kindle "on"). Some time later, the device appeared to open (not quite sure how long after I joined it when I saw the Kindle 2 unit charging in another room on the left). The back cover off and blew, it was found, 10 centimeters away, with black burn marks inside. A black transistor element (labeled Q2 broke on board) - certainly have posed a fire hazard and the safety of people! Now it is not (red LED "off", yellow LED light "off" in Kindle 2). Luckily my Kindle 2 was not damaged! This is definitely a bad product made with inferior, sub-standard electronic parts, and the manufacturer seems to be no measures have checked for quality assurance (no UL label, etc. and any other consumer product safety certification testing). DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!

Summary: Did not work.
Thus, this charger and it was not working at all. It is possible that I was simply broken, however, and not an accurate representation of the product. Anyway, I am still forced to buy another one.

Summary: Doesn't work
This is a piece of junk that does not work. Kindle charging light never goes on, no fee.

Now it's completely ridiculous that I can spend up to $ 20 for replacement charger for the Kindle (shame on Amazon), but worse, that I had money for this piece of cr * p.

Summary: Great but doesn't charge
It's a great idea. Stuck, but if I do in my Kindle. It would not charge it. The light was, so I know it has always been power, but the charging light on my Kindle came to about 30 seconds then shuts down. It would not be free.

Summary: Not worth saving money
I bought this at work as a back-up to keep the OEM Charger for Kindle. Since there is only a backup, I was glad to save a few euros. I put it into my Kindle dead this morning, do not think it's free.

I have since brought a rush to replace OEM cable, since I'm out of town for the next few weeks. Save a few bucks myself liquidation costs much more.

Summary: Rapid home and travel charger
I love to read in the car. and if I'm traveling this charger, it is easy for me to recharge my Kindle in the car. Thank you for the ease of use.

Summary: This one works

Was a former Travel Charger for Kindle 2 sold does not work for these providers unanimously condemned. This version, but works just fine. (Various manufacturers, I suppose.) Charges very quickly, too. Do not beat price.

Summary: wrong product
I have not really about this product was sent in error. I have a car charger for my Kindle, which came along with the phone charger, said that car charger, but it was a big deal, except that not.Not I was told I would have to contact the advertiser to get a refund! That irritated me, because I had nothing to do with the order. I tried several times to get an answer, but the cell charger was not worth the effort. It was a very cheap mobile phone charger, so I chaulked up to a loss. But I want to make sure I do not receive any additional elements to the next time, and if I do everything back again.
