Summary: hope you read reviews first!!!!

For the first time in a long time I did not look at reviews before buying. Of course its not a big loss, because its not an expensive product.

Here are my questions:

1. The stuff they offer little barely visible pieces of themselves on screen left, air bubbles in the cover.

2. Very heavy to lift and reposition if you do not get it perfect the first time. (Admittedly, I'm a bit of a perfectionist)

3. The screen I received was not quite the right size so that overhanging edges found on the Kindle frame and place on the screen.

Do not buy this product !!!!!!

Summary: Total waste of money - don't bother

This product is worthless! It does not fit the Kindle screen that it should be custom designed to fit.

I was up to the corners, because the Kindle, the screen is slightly rounded at the corners, but these are badly designed protector trim has sharp edges that may prevent it from with a flat on the screen. Nevertheless, I have steady hands and an exacto knife and so I went ahead and cut every corner a little. But then you should remove the sheet from the adhesive side of the protector, and somehow in the exact position on the freshly cleaned screen and then polish it into place with a little paper card that is supplied for this purpose, all without the adhesive side. She has only one chance to do it perfectly or you'll walk off to get it with and reposition, confronted again without touching the adhesive side. I have to do the protector sheet, which I had taken off, this, and it took several tries to get them in the exact position on the screen.

Despite having the screen very carefully and thoroughly cleaned before there were some indications of invisible dust that's between the protector and the screen, probably due to static electricity, and then the protector of air bubbles that could not be removed was. A specification of dust is nearly impossible to remove once it is on the adhesive side of the protector without potentially contaminating it further. After I was installed as well as I, and removing the outer protective sheet in a position, I noticed a significant reflection of the protector, which is a real problem for me when reading the device. Would not you think they are realizing there should be a non-glare material? And like a static cling material instead of glue?

After fooling around with this for the largest part of an hour I gave up and recorded live this false purchase up to. I will be sure that the reviews you read next time, as I now have a lot of people have noted, had similar experiences. Amazon should pull this product from their website - it's like throwing $ 4 (with shipping) is set in the sand! My advice is get a decent Kindle cover, and only with the screen when it is open and in use to be careful.

Summary: BoxWave has Trouble Keeping Promises

This anti-glare screen is not on the Kindle screen without bubbles forming between him and the Kindle.

BoxWave will not accept a return without an RMA number. However, after 5 days BoxWave Customer Service has not responded to my e-mail request for the number. Box Wave promises to 24-48 hrs response. There is no customer service phone number on their website.

In addition, I paid for 2 days shipping and the product came in 4-5 days.

When I am always on my money again successful, I will invest a lot of my time so that the return to happen.

At first I was mad when the seller rejected my order because I live in Hong Kong maintained its customer service, "Hong Kong has a long history of credit card fraud has had, and those countries with a high-risk list for all the major credit card companies have been. We have shipments to Hong Kong as a measure to prevent prohibited or fraudulent activities. Summary: So-So

I bought this book because you were the only reliable screen to cover the Kindle.

So I would it a 3 1 / 2.

I agree with other people / guests that it bubbles ..

However, I do not let it bother me, because I think it is impossible to avoid the Kindle screen.

Putting cover on the screen, I've arranged it so that you do it slowly and cover the blisters .. but because the screen is so large (or even the 6 "to ignite) .. it was hard to cover up, before more dust flew up!

Anyway, as long as my KINDLE cover protects against scratches and how I will live with the 5 small air bubbles.

Summary: Easy Screen Protection. Not so anti-glare.

This screen protector went smoothly with few air bubbles, and were simply pressed with the included card out. The screen protection is also durable and does not seem to attract dust or lint.

The slight criticism is that I have to relate the display advertising for protection as "anti-glare." The protective screen had a slight negative impact neutral on the screen glare. I did not notice that worsened the addition of the glare screen protector, up to the point that I would remove it, but I did not find that it improves the screen glare.

This product does not comply with the Kindle. It's made for an iphone and they put a sticker ignited. Does not fit properly. Had the corner cut off to use it as a temporary guardian until I get another one.

=== Review #2 ===

Summary: Get One With A Matte Texture

I'll cut to the chase - I would not recommend this product for the following reasons:

- IPhone SreenGuard

Whaa ... a? As someone has already pointed out, the package so clearly the screen protectors for the iPhone. On the back are instructions written in barely understandable English, how to use the product. (See below reads: "Made in China 'in big capital letters. Hmm ... I wonder where it might be?) A label bearing the inscription" For Kindle "on the front of the package will be struck in the face. My God, how sloppy can you get? All signs point to ... Stay away from this! (-1 Star)

- Reflective Surface

The reflective surface is such that you will not care to see _some_ reflection that ignite your perspective. I find this very annoying! It really defeats the purpose of the e-paper, with these screen protectors on, it's easier to just read off the LCD screen. Get in, that has a matte surface.

- "Remove Tab" decal Left Behind

I was not clean, drag the "Remove this tab" sticker from the screen protector. I was able to scrape off the rest, but it leaves me with a sticky residue. (-1 Star)

---

I recommend the brand of BoxWave screen protectors. I've used it for a long time on my other devices. They are not perfect - they leave a few bubbles, but these will disappear over time. You are too damned expensive. Amazon does not seem to carry them into the stone texture, but you can get them from the BoxWave website.

I totally agree with the other reviews! I was very careful. I have an iPhone so I know went to clean the screen before carefully. Was with my phone, they clean, they put on, it fit perfectly! I was not ready for this mess! I have the support from well with each other, but I could not lay flat on the cover, as required on the screen to be formed in the corners. So, after I realized that the support is already off and juggle in order to cut off the corners there is now a couple of tiny dust particles, the bubbles that create no matter how small, and it has a terrible glare!. I am constantly changing in order to get the shine off the screen. I will replace this!

Summary: there're pros and cons, but overall a good quality screen protector

I was a little cynical when I purchased the product after reviewing all the positive and negative ratings. I got a few other screen protectors over the last few months or so there from local shops and other sites, I This article establishes a 5-star after my studies on 5 similar items that have not and I wasted my money. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of a ...

Pros:

- Very good quality. it is definitely not flimsy like I received from a different angle. Can I keep the paper really is and better control, which made the application much easier!

- Perfect fit! OMG, what a relief! I was so frustrated that I had to trim fit.

- It was. (I had that kept falling off!)

- The lessons are clear. The paper sticker on the thin plastic film (1 attached on each side to protect the actual screen protector.)

- There is minimal reflections! I do not say no reflection at all, but much better than I thin before. I have bad eye sights and it was one of my main concerns.

Con:

Cleaning the screen is crucial! I have very little dry cloth soaked in warm water to clean my screen very well and leave them in the air ... Do NOT use a dry tissue paper to dry it, you get "invisible" on the lint screen on the left, which can not u to Screen protection is available, then see it is painful to pull it back and almost impossible to Remove the lint on the adhesive side.

My biggest tip for anyone on your screen clean very well! I drive this on for sure!

Summary: It is what it is, and well, that's all

I can not as enthusiastic as the first reviewer. The case is what it says it is a hard plastic case, Kindle. Like the previous reviewer, I ordered a clear case. It was not easy, snap-on, and I had my fingers a few times when you try to connect the pages. This was particularly difficult to do because the screen kept the hard cover that comes with the case is not quite the case fit and sliding around. The screen lists a glare. The case has tabs on the front (as it closes at the Kindle), the lines from the plastic mold on them that make the Kindle dirty. The best way to describe what it would say it's like if you have a piece of tape on something and dust will look at the edges. Not cool. The picture frame effect is the only thing they worth the price and it is disappointing that has the nature of the state only makes an angle.

=== Review #3 ===

Summary: Protect your investment

If you love your Kindle and use it as much as I think you might want to invest in this protective cover. It tears easily and protects the reader from dirt and shocks. For obvious reasons, I have not tested how much it if the Kindle had fallen, but at least I have a feeling that will help it secure. There is also a hard screen protector, so designed that you want to use it or choose not to. I have decided not to have as I already use a protective film on my screen. I would be more inclined to cover the screen when I went to do too much traveling. One of the best features of this case is the status on their backs, to support you in the front allows you to catch fire (like a picture frame) for reading simplified. I bought the clearly established but if I could do it again, I choose a color just for fun.

Summary: Spoils Matte Finish of Kindle's Screen

I did not dare to apply this screen protector correctly, so I took it to the mall kiosk, where I Screen Protectors nice on my phone, camera, iPod and applied. The professional could do to him, but was still a few small air bubbles visible. My main concern is that the Board's protector, the shiny finish matte finish spoils the screen of the Kindle, which makes it difficult, not without getting to the tipping-angle reflective read. I thought it only for two days before ripping it off and threw it away. It was wasted money, in my opinion. Yes, that would protect the screen from scratches and dust, as the package says, but so would a plastic bag. For me it is not a workable solution.

Kindle is a big deal about the way in which they appear so similar to reading on paper and implements, as an essential feature of their products. Putting a reflective blanket over her very special property that negated.

=== Review #2 ===
Rating: 1
Summary: Too much glare, don't buy it

The installation was fairly simple. I started at the top and worked my way down slowly. It was a sticker on each side to make it easier to scrub his back. However, removal of the front label proved to be very difficult, and I had to use WD-40, to remove the gunk left behind. And it turns out, there are not two layers as I thought, there are three layers. A back that you peel, a front that you pull on the application, then the middle of "protective" layer.

At the end of the product took less than a day on my Kindle DX. The appearance was terrible. And as others have said, you can pretty much see myself well enough to shave or comb his hair. That means I had to carefully position the Kindle, without seeing, reading every light source in the room.

This product is now in my trash. Stick with the standard non-glare screen on the Kindle and respect not only to scratch, too.

=== Review #3 ===
Rating: 2
Summary: certainly not non-glare

I had just purchased a Kindle for my DX 13-year-old daughter. I got her a cover, but I wanted to give additional protection for your screen. This is good, but it is definitely a dazzling (I almost can style my hair if I keep them) to which only the right angle. It is not easy to be applied, after trying for 20 minutes, there are many small bubbles. All that aside, I'm happy with the extra protection, but I do not think I would buy them if I an adult.

Summary: It's OK, but limited .....

I'm just not a fan.

Some people have a talent for the installation of products clear how these, on smooth surfaces. I am not one of them. Normally I get a terrible time to drive the thing straight and then make sure that we do not have a bladder problem.

I will not hold my own inadequacies against this product.

It's just that I think it is a form of below-average or "protection" that is not worth the time and money. The better alternative is to purchase an actual cover of your choice. (http://www.amazon.com/OCTO-Splash-Proof-Amazon-Kindle/dp/B002BB68ZW/ref=pd_sim_e_5) <--- Oh look, here's one.

It is really not very difficult to cover affixed to the DX screen. There were some little "bubbly" but I could not find it too distracting.

While indicating the manufacturer / seller that is not to glare or impair the legibility of the DX, I think that a nearly accurate statement, but I can not quite agree. The screen simply does not work "look" of the same in the same light as without it. Well, that's a mistake ...

Well, it depends. The coverage is bought that I do not appear on the screen. Accordingly, the screen is a bit different because I am just by plastic. But, I'm used to it quickly. It's just not the big thing for me. For others, I think it might disturb a.

What I distrust about the product, and I'm not willing to really "test" on the product itself is exactly how much "protection" it offers actualyl.

Remember, it is to protect the screen, probably made the biggest threat - scratches.

So, I have this product over the face of a clock and threw a handful of changes, a sharp edge clip ran over her, beat her with things made of metal (spring clips, for example) and the product has held up well in . There were no signs of scratches seen on my old ones.

I think it is better not to find a product that offers protection for the entire device. SPILLS are also perpetrators of electronic effects. I remain convinced, as the current reporting on this product, that a spill will lead to the fact your Kindle DX is not in any possible harm.

Of course the screen protector does not protect the keys, etc. Something else to consider.

I can not completely knock the product for what it does not, but I say that the use is restricted. Perhaps that is enough for you, but do not make for an excellent product. I want to give it 2.5 stars, but I'm defaulting to 3, since the product is in fact exactly as announced and is easy to use - even for a Clutz fat fingers like me.

PS I do something about the term "Reusable. If you do this thing new, you will not re-use it at all. Also, as with other similar products, if things be the protectors, you will not be reused. It can be removed and reapplied, and after 10 reapplication, it was still in the room. Watch for curling corners, but if you do this repeatedly.

Summary: Just Okay

I just changed my screen protector and it is not so great. He says it is matte, and adds no luster, but it is almost reflective enough to use as a mirror. The small installation tool is not left small scratches on the whole, the protector and cleaning cloth can remove, and there are still a few bubbles. I recommend not to peel off and reinstall - the bubbles and scratches was getting worse. Good luck - I really hope that at another - preferably MADE IN CHINA AMERICA instead.

Summary: Anti-Glare Screen that causes glare that didn't exist before?

What is a sheer waste of money. Although this product claims to reduce glare and dull, it is not easy to do. It is more the reflection of light (especially with interior lighting and make light) than it without the "protector". Definitely do not buy!

Obviously, the job of protecting the screen. Not too difficult to agree on when a little patience, smoothing it out, it is needful. I thought it was a dazzling, where not naked with a screen.

Summary: Worthless

I have my grandson a Kindle DX for Christmas, which is really wonderful (I hope he feels the same) I saw him the clip light, adapter, lamp, and the screen protectors, too. Everything is wonderful except for the screen protectors. You are what you adjust expensive, not accurate and there is no way to even half of the bubbles, the extremely aggravated, and noticed all the way through the child be removed. We ended up taking it off, and I doubt it will be made again and again. Who would have thought bubbles would all go nuts?

Summary: Not Enthused!

I have little value for the anti-glare Protector ... I can not tell the difference between the Anti-Glare Screen Protector and not. That is, there is the Kindle DX screen extra protection against scratches, etc. But at just $[...] (including standard shipping) is not a bargain!

Summary: Should have paid attention to the reviews....

I have no one to blame himself. I read all the reviews, and bought it anyway ... find out "it's only 12.50, it must be worth at least that '... oh well maybe, maybe not. The fit is horrible. Both sides gape open (see photo), which not only makes it less effective, it can be annoying as all hell, if I'm holding the book. I kept trying to push the sides and hope that they eventually stay. But they do not. I must be kept in a position to hold my Kindle and they work with one hand away from my body (usually I have a child in my lap want to push themselves much on the next page button for me) and I was worried that the other covers would be too bulky or heavy. It applies this requirement to be just, and for that reason alone I will probably hold, at least for a while.

It would be nice if they had to say made it a little easier to stop when the different buttons and start, but I do not have too many problems to use it. The silicone is a dust and dog hair magnet, so you do not want to use it if you have a black lab ;-).

The screen protection is so so. There was no better and no worse than all the ones I had for my iPhone. It was relatively easy, and I have only 3 or 4 grains of dust, which I know better than to try and remove.

Overall, I am rather disappointed in this case. It is somewhat meager, and does not fit, but it does offer some minimal protection for my Kindle, and it allows me to hold it with one hand.

Summary: super, for a silicone skin...

This skin is easy, seems durable, and will undoubtedly save my Kindle should I leave it. The screen protector was difficult to measure), satisfactory (bubbles, but is hard and should adequately protect the screen. The skin fits well and is relatively easy to use, although I wish I could see the button labels by the blue silicone washers. The Kindle is much easier to maintain than they are without clothes. The silicone case is just the right texture to make sure rest of the Kindle in your hand, if I feel it with my hand under the Kindle, or between the thumb and forefinger.

This skin (and screen protector) is ideal to take Kindle into a purse or backpack. I bought one of these skins for my wife and moved them into a leather M-Edge Prodigy Kindle Genuine leather jacket with a hinge (Fits 6 "display, Latest-generation Kindle), Red Marbled Kindle since its usually sits next to the chair. And she wanted red.

Summary: Good companion for my Amazon Kindle

It costs $ 12.99, I can tell, it does a good job protecting my Kindle. I do not have to worry about slipping and falling on the ground (Not that I encourage you to try). This skin is light in weight. The texture is very good. I wanted Kindle to offer more color options. I now, this kind of personalized Blue Silicone Skin Kindle. Summary: Fine for the price!

I ordered this set (in red) for my new Kindle 2nd It is a bit thinner than I hoped (I have a silicone protection for my i-pod is thicker in bacon), and lose it a little tougher, I should think fit. That is, it was cheap ($ 9 vs. $ 30 covers at least for the leather-like book) and gives the device some protection, but I would not throw or anything. The screen protection works as it should. All in all a good product for the price.

Summary: Blunts bumps and provides a secure grip to the Kindle

These skins are seriously blamed for the Kindle 2nd Besides the protection that the bump is silicon, the friction that gives the skin gives me the finger a firm grip on the Kindle. These skins blunt impact and give me a secure grip. I like them, and although I think I need not have two, it was too good to pass up. Especially since they came with screen covers that fit well. I have always been my Kindle in a case, because when I wear it out of the house, but the Kindle fits well with the skin and work together to provide enormous protection.

Summary: Good Product

I wanted a rubber skin for my Kindle as I for my Blackberry, so I bought this set of My Gift. They fit very well, but it is a little loose around the inner edges, possibly from to get it on with the train. This has not be harmful to the function or appearance, and I recommend these skins as a must for any Kindle. The set of two skins come with screen protectors, and even though I am on the use of them because some of the negative reviews I read online anxious, I found it as easy to use and is effective.

Summary: great for the price, a bit thicker than I thought they would be

These are really very nice and they look / work just as you'd expect to ...

They have holes in the side so that you can still add the Kindle to a sleeve or another employer, they could still too thick to really to make that happen. I have only the standard Amazon leather cover and I can not have the silicone skin on and put it into the cover at the same time. Perhaps there is another cover that has a wider tolerance ... or other system that locks the slots, which I'm not used consciously. Do not plan Either way, with the skin and the leather at the same time. I usually put on the skin, then put the ignition on (loosely) in the leather, if I place it in a bag with other items. In this way the screen from impact, it is protected with keys and other such filth.

Summary: Flimsy Fit On Kindle DX

This is my second product in the experiment to my unit from sand and dust purchased to protect. Unfortunately, I had to return to this as well, because it's not a very good adaptation to the DX and does not protect the screen at all. So far, the worst has not one, so I continued my search in the search for a solution for the protection a Kindle in dusty environments.

Summary: Screen protector damaged Kindle DX screen

Although I am very happy with my Kindle DX, when I received it, unfortunately, the screen is now damaged in a misguided attempt to protect them. Through the Amazon site I've done an LCD screen protector for the Kindle DX. The rest of the story and Amazon's response is in the following emails:

Dear Vangoddy Customer Service:

I was of Amazon customer service to advise you regarding the damage to my new Kindle DX during the use of your LCD Screen Protector E-mail. Let me preface this that I have applied screen protectors on iPods before I knew the right way to use this product, and even used rubber gloves to the protector grip. I followed the instructions carefully and slowly began to apply the protector of the Kindle screen but realized that it was not perfectly aligned so as the instructions state, I began to "lift the screen protectors and new." Immediately after I noticed that several large vesicles (1 / 4 "-1 / 2" diameter) had formed on the LCD screen itself.

To prevent further damage to the device I had slowly removed the screen protector of the rest of the way, but formed more small bubbles. After removing the protective film I had the cloth supplied with the product and succeeded in some of the great bubbles of the LCD screen was working, but the damage is done.

I ordered my Kindle DX on 24 September 2009 so as you can see, I've only owned for a month and the screen was ruined, ironically, in my attempt to protect it from damage. To say that I am deeply disappointed to say the least. Amazon customer service said that in view of the screen, they will charge me a $ 255.00 repair fee, I do not for one item that is practically new, and may give rise to address the $ 490,00 in the first place costs.

I have attached 3 pictures on the screen damage. In them you will see dark spots that look like drops of water. These are the bubbles in the LCD screen on the left, and after several attempts, push-to-it out that they seem to be permanent.

The following e-mail is the response from Amazon:

Please note that based on your description of the problem, we can only have a new Kindle DX for $ 255.00, unless the damage is covered by the warranty.

The limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the device, not the subject of accidents, abuse, neglect, fire or other external causes, unauthorized use, alteration or repair, or commercial use.

Under your concern as a feedback, I have forwarded your comments about our Kindle team. Customer feedback as you continue to assist our service that we continue to improve and we are glad that you took the time to write. Please let us know if this e-mail resolved your question.

Well, I'm still very disappointed in the response from Amazon and I warn everyone who reads this, never for a screen protector your Kindle. I am surprised that Amazon did not warn its customers that the screen is not like a laptop or iPod screen, and that the screen might separate layers. And although I understand that the warranty may not cover everything, I think Amazon needs more repair options to customers to offer especially if the device out of the box only been 3 weeks! I think it is inappropriate that Amazons me further $ 255.00 for damage to both minimal and cosmetic.

Summary: Light cover feels great in your hands

This silicone skin is very beautiful. Very comfortable, even if it slips on easily. The Kindle DX itself feels good in your hands, with the cover it's different, but still very beautiful. Has no effect on the functionality of the Kindle or the readability in any way.

Does not concern itself on the screen, of course, it does not actually protect, they would cover a stroke, the way complete. It does not have "opened" will be to use the Kindle - you pick up your Kindle and go. The fitted, and the light weight is what convinced me not to go with this skin as cover. (Plus, the price is much lower than a cover.)

The included Anti-Scratch Protector to protect it from minor scratches, and installs very easily.

Summary: Fantastic buy to protect your KindleDX!!

I bought a few weeks ago Kindle DX and I have a hard time finding something that would protect and clean my Kindle but not add a lot of extra weight on them. They have leather cases for them, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to put it in and then every time I did not want to mention that you use the extra weight. That's when I found this great Kindle DX skin! It's like the skins you would have on your BlackBerry to keep it from small bumps and bruises, and they keep clean as well! I was a little bit about how clean worried my Kindle, but now it is just as clean on the silicone skin instead. Just rinse and dry! I have a whole series of these skins for my family and my girlfriend, who are in the Kindle club with me and they love it too. This is a great buy and not to mention a great investment for a great way to personalize your Kindle too. I can 4 different colors that I mix and match depending on what I feel like. With each order came with a wonderful screen protector that keeps my screen clean and safe from scratches and dust. Just another great benefit of this purchase. I totally recommend this for everyone, which a Kindle!

Summary: Pretty good

$ 2 - for optimal protection of these and I must say, it's pretty good. I wanted an anti-glare protector for my Kindle 2 and I was skeptical because there are no reviews and not much to pull themselves by the seller. However, I thought to try it since it only $ 2, cheaper than a Starbuck's latte. I was really impressed with this product. The product, there are anti-reflective coating, stain, 90% UV ray, and it protects scratches, and resistance to erosion and finger print. I'm not sure if this product really all what could be. However, I could tell you that it is easy to apply for the 2nd Kindle Few small bubbles after application, but I hope it will dissipate over time. It does not block all the light, but it is sufficient. Overall, I would like the product, and I will order some more.
