Rating: 5Summary: Best Screen Protector Money Can Buy
I have a 1st Generation Kindle. I, for one BoxWave Anti-glare (like the shiny contrast looking version) Screen Protector only sells it for Amazon Kindle 2nd I took a gamble and ordered it anyway, thinking I can always trim if it is too large (provided that the Kindle 2 screen is larger than the Kindle's screen 1). It turns out the Clear Touch Anti-Glare Screen Protector for the Kindle 2 is a perfect * * Fit for my 1st generation Kindle. Woot!
First of all, to complaints about air bubbles trapped address, all screen protectors may be some bubbles left behind no matter what happens. You do not find that a screen protector not. With that said, the BoxWave Screen Protector is the best screen protector money can buy. I have with the brand of BoxWave screen protectors for years for all my electronic gadgets and I was very pleased with them. They are more expensive than most other brands of screen protectors, but they are worth it. You are * very * high-quality screen protectors - you will * really * what you pay for! I was trying to save a few buck $ by one of these for my Kindle - boy, that was a mistake! I ended up throwing it out and get this instead of BoxWave screen protector.
Pros
----
- Fits both the 1st and 2 Generation inflamed
- Anti-glare
The anti-reflective surface is at least as anti-glare screen as the original Kindle.
- Protects screen from fingerprints, scratches, dirt and other inconveniences
The Screen Protector serves an important purpose, although the Kindle does not have a touch screen. After a screen protector on the Kindle gives me more room to take on the Kindle. I like access to my Kindle, without having to worry about inadventently leave prints on the screen or the screen scratching.
- Lasts a long time
The screen protectors are very durable and will likely last the life of your Kindle. Since the Kindle does not have a touch screen, you are not wearing the Screen Protector by tapping with your finger or a pen.
- Invisible
You can not say there is a screen protector on your Kindle, if you applied actually the screen protector.
- If you decide to remove the screen protector, they will not leave behind a sticky residue.
Cons
----
- Leaves bubbles
To be fair, * all * screen protectors * are * going to trapped air bubbles leave behind. I have two tiny bubbles in my screen protector caught, but these are hardly noticeable, especially if the Kindle on. Do not worry if you have a bubble or two have caught on film. These usually diminish or disappear over time. The included microfiber cloth and plastic card will assist in the elimination of air bubbles.
- Expensive
But you get what you pay! The BoxWave screen protectors are about the best quality screen protectors that I have ever seen.
Reviews
----
- Point the First Screen Protector with one side of the Kindle screen (left or right, depending on whether you hand or right-handed) are left to ensure that the film is not tilted. Slowly, the screen protector cut from one side of the Kindle, the whole time that you carefully monitor to ensure the alignment of the film, it is not slanted. Once you find that it is wrong to remove these and immediately you start the process. The film has a certain rigidity to make it easy to work (it is the stiffness similar to a transparency film). The lower the film, push out any trapped air bubbles. When you make a botch of the application, use a piece of tape on one corner pulling the slide up, you get a handle on the movie to remove it completely. start from the front. A small plastic card and a microfiber cloth is included to help you smooth out the film.
- Clean the screen before you apply the screen protector. Use a Swiffer duster or the included microfiber cloth to clean off any dust on you Kindle. Do not be lazy or trying to cut corners - all the dust grains, which is stuck on the Screen Protector to remove almost impossible! (I use a Swiffer duster and some cotton wool soaked in alcohol to clean my screen before I apply the screen protector).
- Some people recommend that you use a PIN, to prick the bubble. I would not recommend it, because otherwise you risk damaging your screen. (It would be rather ironic, it would not work if you damaged the screen while you try to be protected?). As I mentioned earlier, remove the air bubbles trapped in the rule or disappear over time anyway.
---
The BoxWave Anti-Glare Screen Protector is the best screen protectors you can get the money. The problem is trapped air bubbles with a problem inherent in all screen protectors, and should not deter you always have the BoxWave screen protector. Be sure to observe the application procedures outlined above and you will be very happy with the results!

Rating: 1Summary: bubble, bubble, toil and trouble
Even with patience, care and caution that does not have this item available, without installing any major deficiencies bubbling. In total, chaotic failure despite multiple attempts. But since I had previously successfully applied Kindle1 and a screen protector and 3acp.com skins (for K1 and K2), I stubbornly decided to try again. Unfortunately, buying a second Kindle 2 BoxWave screen protector. Another failed completely. Not recommended.

Rating: 2Summary: ClearTouch Screen Protector - Not what I expected
Came packaged very well. Had a lot of extras in the usability area, however, not really my product to try first, found out it was not installed by my place with a screen Kindle, no matter which corner I tried to square off and try different corners of the screen protectors with different angles of the Kindle screen. I'll either need to return, or they like it and I do not really, so it was a waste of money in my eyes.

Rating: 1Summary: Completely Useless
I have one of MightBright reading lights, and find that I always fiddling with it a place of blinding, where I can not read, to prevent the side. I have this hope, it would help. It made little difference in glare diffusion. Yes, always blowing off was a bit boring, but when I got out, I could not say that I had the "anti-glare" screen protector on. And this is not a good thing.

Rating: 5Summary: Does just what it says, easy to apply
After reading several negative reviews, I have no intention to buy Screen Protector, and in fact, I bought another one. But one of these screen protectors with the silicone skin that I had also bought, so I decided to try it. It was easy and works well. The other guardian, that I had bought aware, remains unopened in my case Kindle as a backup.
Bubble-free application is easy, but you have to wear a certain concern. There are two steps to a bubble-free application: cleaning the Kindle screen and the application of the protector correctly.
(1) Clean the Kindle screen before you apply the screen protector. I cleaned my Kindle screen in two steps. First, I dusted it carefully with a lint-free cloth. Secondly, I sprayed it with a small amount of lens cleaner for glasses and wiped that off
Note that the screen protector is a bit stiff. This makes it easy to use, but it also means that when a dirt will stain between the protector and the screen, the bacon will keep the backing from the screen, even at the spot itself, resulting in a very clear bubble. If you get a spot under the protector, peel off the protective back far enough to reveal the splitter, and then lift the bacon from contact with the sticky side a piece of tape, wrapped around your finger. You can you peeled the protective film from the protector, the protector around the corner, so you do not touch to lift the protector of the sticky side with your finger.
The package for the Screen Protector says it is removable and washable. The protector is no glue on it. It's just a very sticky plastic. It is therefore easy to remove. Just peel it off. For there is no glue, I take on both sides of the protector can be washed, but I do not know. You can clean stains of dirt on the adhesive side of the protector by the sticky side of tape against the protector and lifting the dirt. I knew that with a temporary I Protector of the original protective film that came with the Kindle. He worked well with this film, so I suspect that it will work much harder with this protector.
By the way, was that protector quite a few small bubbles barely below, but it made no difference to the readability of the Kindle. My experience is that bubbles are aesthetically unpleasant more than a serious interference with function. In addition, the special protectress was brilliant as this makeshift protective, but I had no problems reading the Kindle in bright sunlight. Glare does not seem to be a practical problem.
This protector is an excellent product.

Rating: 5Summary: does what it says, says what it does
Wonderful product! I was surprised to see that it does not stick "to the screen as the screen shields in the past! The static cling is excellent! I strongly recommend this to ignite a Who! I still have my drop, but I want to take no chances on a expencive equipment.

Rating: 4Summary: Easy Screen Protection. Not so anti-glare.
This screen protector went smoothly with few air bubbles, and were simply pressed with the included card out. The screen protection is also durable and does not seem to attract dust or lint.
The slight criticism is that I have to relate the display advertising for protection as "anti-glare." The protective screen had a slight negative impact neutral on the screen glare. I did not notice that worsened the addition of the glare screen protector, up to the point that I would remove it, but I did not find that it improves the screen glare.

Rating: 4Summary: Fits a sony touch
bought the Kindle version of the BoxWave Anti-Glare Screen Protector, since it is much cheaper than the Sony Reader Touch Edition (used by 12 U.S. dollars) to reduce it does not eliminate all the glare, but a considerable amount. It was a little hard to put a bubble with a few, but overall seems like a decent product. One complaint I have is about the company that sent it to me in a plain envelope with no cardboard or nothing, to keep it from bending in the mail.

Rating: 5Summary: Good quality, doesn't glare
It took less than 2 minutes to apply them to my kindle. If you have ever applied a screen protector to a telephone, laptop or anything really, you know, it just takes a little patience equally apply.
If you get a speck of dust, or in my case, and unhappy cat hair under the protector, simply) a piece of clear tape (sticky side to remove them without damage to the protector.
The included "squeegie was" stable enough to do the job.
The protector shall not impede the clear reading of doe and keeps the nice anti-glare matte finish of the bare ignite.
Overall, following these simple instructions, was installed this quickly and easily. When the play a klutz that I am sure it appreciates my Kindle!

Rating: 4Summary: great service, nice product
My product has lost in the post to go, so the sellers were so kind to me one more free. I'm getting another anyway so I can change them if you must and dirty wash. A few air bubbles are still a week later caught, but I hope they will dissipate with time. Anyway, I'm just glad that my beautiful ignite not scratched!

Rating: 4Summary: It works well and easy to apply
This screen appeared to the best of the review on the Amazon have done. I had no problems during installation and now it will not even notice that it is turned on. Protects the screen, that's what I was looking for.

Rating: 5Summary: Kindle 2 Screen Protector
When I got my Kindle for Christmas, my Santa thoughtfully included a screen protector, which I installed immediately. Unfortunately it was not an anti-glare screen protector and glare and reflections, drove me to despair. I pulled it after two days and replaced it with the BoxWave Anti Glare Screen Protector. BoxWave The product is much more expensive, but it is certainly worthwhile in my opinion. It has the same anti-glare properties, such as the Kindle screen. You can not even tell it's there. One must be very careful that all the small, fine dust particles from the Kindle before installation. I have a high quality microfiber cloth and has a very careful examination before the installation. It took a little time and patience, until I worked out all the air bubbles, but the installation was fine and I am absolutely satisfied with this product. In this case you really do get what you pay for. Thank you, BoxWave and Amazon.

Rating: 1Summary: lots of bubbles
I could not install without several large bubbles visible on the screen. I think it has the Kindle screen a little dimmer. (This was not a big issue) I tried to install it a few times. I even tried washing as the instructions said it was ok ... when nothing but the attempts that I have more bubbles I have made. Finally, it was too much controversy and bubbling I took it from him and decided to vent here.
They also did not seem to make a tangible difference to glare at all.
Mine came a little later then the shipping estimate but this happens occasionally on shipping from the U.S.. The actual package that arrived in the mail looked very nice with good instructions. The package was in good condition, but possibly the postage was not nice to me? The Kindle 2 was a screen larger than most PDA / phone etc, makes it perhaps more difficult to make a good cover for them? In any case, I can not really recommend. I'll take my chances with my bare screen. I wasted time and effort.

Rating: 5Summary: No problems at all for me.
I wiped the screen down and with the included cloth, and then my sister helped me apply the screen protectors I slowly took off the support while she pressed the bubbles with the supplied card. No bubbles, nothing remained under the protector, or nothing.

Rating: 4Summary: Not bad, really not bad
Really nice product. Installation is not easy, but I'm not very good at this kind of work, maybe it was all my fault. Finally, I managed to place the protector correctly, and it fits perfectly to the screen (Kindle 2). No bubbles, no glare. One more thing: when they say to clean the screen must be made before installation, they mean it. I did not at first believe and have problems with dust.
(Well. .. so sorry for my weak English)

Rating: 3Summary: Okay, I guess...
The Kindle Clear Touch Anti-Glare Screen Protector looked like a very good product when I see him out of my pack, but I had a very difficult time of their application without bubbling questions that not even the small applicator card was able to resolve. I did not find "bubble-free application description to be accurate, but the screen has fit the 6" Kindle display very well and I like that you remove it, wash it, and again if necessary (although I have not really ) do. The best part is the compact cleaning cloth that comes with the kit and can easily stowed away somewhere in my Kindle to be the case. Overall, a decent product, but I had more problems with blistering, but I thought I would on the description be prepared and a few other reviews. for a little frustration with the installation.

Rating: 5Summary: Protect your investment
I was always afraid that I would scratch my Kindle 2 screen. This protector I do not think to make any longer. It was so easy to use and practically invisible, as it becomes available. Good way to protect your Kindle.

Rating: 3Summary: protective screen
I still get a glare from my reading lamp, and the substance is difficult to make without all kinds of bubbles. The bubbles are a pain out. Then there is the question of picking it all kinds of dirt and trapping them under the screen

Rating: 3Summary: Still Looking
I have this on my Kindle for a few days without covering any type of screen. I found it difficult to apply without bubbles, and even though I had to clean my screen diligently, as directed, I found under the plastic particles were, after several attempts to apply it with no air bubbles trapped. I should probably there when the particles were small stand still, but they created bubble, so I washed the cover as directed. This worked well, except that in the process of drying (they waved like a Polaroid keep following the instructions), the plastic is a little bent, where I was. I have used it again, but the curved surfaces have bubbled a lot. I have not found too disturbing when my screen is angled correctly. In fact, I think there is less glare with this application. Quietly, the bubbles annoy me, so I ordered a new screen cover. This time I have the Green Onions protector, selected as a product similar sounds, but it has two screens, so I'll have a backup. I think if it was installed properly, it would work very well, but I do not have the dexterity to get it on in one go.

Rating: 1Summary: This is not designed for the Kindle
This product is clearly for the iPhone / iTouch. Kindle Someone put a sticker on the cover to indicate that it can be used for the Kindle. It is ill-equipped for the 2nd Kindle It is quarter inch too short, and about 1 / 16 inch too wide for the screen Kindle. The one I bought, with fuzz on the side, was covered on the Kindle screen face. Needless to say, I did not use it. It is generally a bad qaulity items and I advise Kindle users avoid.

Rating: 5Summary: Works on SONY PRS-600
I never normally write a report, but in this case I had. I've used a lot of screen protector for cell phones, MP3 players, etc.. This was by far the best guide I've seen. It has a matte finish that reduces glare by about 70%. Anti-Glare is the reason why I purchased this product. The Sony PRS-600 is white, to have glare problems because of its touchscreen. Once applied, the product provides full usability of the touch screen as if it did not.

Save money, time and spirit! My husband is great at this type of material and for the last hour that he's trying to get the air bubbles out. They're just not out. And it's not a pair is closer to 10! Will not buy anything from this company again!
