Summary: Fantastic buy to protect your KindleDX!!

I bought a few weeks ago Kindle DX and I have a hard time finding something that would protect and clean my Kindle but not add a lot of extra weight on them. They have leather cases for them, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to put it in and then every time I did not want to mention that you use the extra weight. That's when I found this great Kindle DX skin! It's like the skins you would have on your BlackBerry to keep it from small bumps and bruises, and they keep clean as well! I was a little bit about how clean worried my Kindle, but now it is just as clean on the silicone skin instead. Just rinse and dry! I have a whole series of these skins for my family and my girlfriend, who are in the Kindle club with me and they love it too. This is a great buy and not to mention a great investment for a great way to personalize your Kindle too. I can 4 different colors that I mix and match depending on what I feel like. With each order came with a wonderful screen protector that keeps my screen clean and safe from scratches and dust. Just another great benefit of this purchase. I totally recommend this for everyone, which a Kindle!

Summary: Flimsy Fit On Kindle DX

This is my second product in the experiment to my unit from sand and dust purchased to protect. Unfortunately, I had to return to this as well, because it's not a very good adaptation to the DX and does not protect the screen at all. So far, the worst has not one, so I continued my search in the search for a solution for the protection a Kindle in dusty environments.

Summary: Kindle DX
Very happy with the Kindle. The pressure is extremely easy to read without eye fatigue and the print size adjusted slightly. The screen in my view, duplicates of a printed page to perfection. The technology is pretty amazing. Another real plus is the battery life is excellent especially if you keep the wireless off, which for most people most of the time. I personally find the Kindle Store selection of books to be excellent. Shopping on the fly on your Kindle is a piece of cake. Really nice surprise, with this article. The DX version costs more, of course, but the size of the screen and storage make memmory to shine this model. This model is a little harder which can be a few buyers who want to opt for the smaller version can impact. I am not personally find the Kindle DX strong by any stretch of the imagination. I also bought the Kindle DX Rubber Case and Screen Protector. Both are easy to use and give the device from scratches and such. I only regret that I did not buy a Kindle in the past.

Summary: Kindle DX Rubber Skin Case
The silicone rubber case was easy to fit and well above keys and socket, but there are gaps you away from the canvas on both sides. I would prefer that it was lying flat against the Kindle on the sides. Overall, it is worth the money, and I think it will protect the Kindle from dirt, scratches and minor spills.

Summary: Light cover feels great in your hands

This silicone skin is very beautiful. Very comfortable, even if it slips on easily. The Kindle DX itself feels good in your hands, with the cover it's different, but still very beautiful. Has no effect on the functionality of the Kindle or the readability in any way.

Does not concern itself on the screen, of course, it does not actually protect, they would cover a stroke, the way complete. It does not have "opened" will be to use the Kindle - you pick up your Kindle and go. The fitted, and the light weight is what convinced me not to go with this skin as cover. (Plus, the price is much lower than a cover.)

The included Anti-Scratch Protector to protect it from minor scratches, and installs very easily.

Summary: ok
the plastic cover is very hard to do right when you peel it right, you dont have blisters.
not for those who are not in the implementation, on stickers or other things like this are experianced

The rubber base will not fit exactly and sticks in places that could be a bit more about the elastic
pull the inner parts to be comfortable.

the light is ok, not the best but not the worst.

Summary: Poor quality product
The case was difficult to put on the Kindle. It ended exaggerated in certain parts. The glass protector was too great. It should be the right size, as it is meant for a Kindle.

Summary: Screen protector damaged Kindle DX screen

Although I am very happy with my Kindle DX, when I received it, unfortunately, the screen is now damaged in a misguided attempt to protect them. Through the Amazon site I've done an LCD screen protector for the Kindle DX. The rest of the story and Amazon's response is in the following emails:

Dear Vangoddy Customer Service:

I was of Amazon customer service to advise you regarding the damage to my new Kindle DX during the use of your LCD Screen Protector E-mail. Let me preface this that I have applied screen protectors on iPods before I knew the right way to use this product, and even used rubber gloves to the protector grip. I followed the instructions carefully and slowly began to apply the protector of the Kindle screen but realized that it was not perfectly aligned so as the instructions state, I began to "lift the screen protectors and new." Immediately after I noticed that several large vesicles (1 / 4 "-1 / 2" diameter) had formed on the LCD screen itself.

To prevent further damage to the device I had slowly removed the screen protector of the rest of the way, but formed more small bubbles. After removing the protective film I had the cloth supplied with the product and succeeded in some of the great bubbles of the LCD screen was working, but the damage is done.

I ordered my Kindle DX on 24 September 2009 so as you can see, I've only owned for a month and the screen was ruined, ironically, in my attempt to protect it from damage. To say that I am deeply disappointed to say the least. Amazon customer service said that in view of the screen, they will charge me a $ 255.00 repair fee, I do not for one item that is practically new, and may give rise to address the $ 490,00 in the first place costs.

I have attached 3 pictures on the screen damage. In them you will see dark spots that look like drops of water. These are the bubbles in the LCD screen on the left, and after several attempts, push-to-it out that they seem to be permanent.

The following e-mail is the response from Amazon:

Please note that based on your description of the problem, we can only have a new Kindle DX for $ 255.00, unless the damage is covered by the warranty.

The limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the device, not the subject of accidents, abuse, neglect, fire or other external causes, unauthorized use, alteration or repair, or commercial use.

Under your concern as a feedback, I have forwarded your comments about our Kindle team. Customer feedback as you continue to assist our service that we continue to improve and we are glad that you took the time to write. Please let us know if this e-mail resolved your question.

Well, I'm still very disappointed in the response from Amazon and I warn everyone who reads this, never for a screen protector your Kindle. I am surprised that Amazon did not warn its customers that the screen is not like a laptop or iPod screen, and that the screen might separate layers. And although I understand that the warranty may not cover everything, I think Amazon needs more repair options to customers to offer especially if the device out of the box only been 3 weeks! I think it is inappropriate that Amazons me further $ 255.00 for damage to both minimal and cosmetic.

Summary: Very hard to apply.
The Anti-Scratch LCD Screen Portector was just a tiny little too big for the screen size and I could not fit on the screen. It is always stretched out, just a bit. The rubber skin case was too floppy and not snuggly fit on the screen and button. I was disappointed.

Summary: Wasn't what I had hoped
This product has been in two pieces (shiny plastic screen guard and rubber boot protector). not the rubber boot protector included the slots in the Kindle into the cover lay Amazon Kindle, that I already use. I cut in slots, but with the rubber sleeve protectors, the Kindle is not suited to the Amazon Kindle cover, which I prefer to use. So I am this protective cover 2-piece cast thing!
