Summary: Awesome value vs other warranties.
This is a wonderful program with no deductible. I saw a non-Amazon-Guarantee and found it had a waiting period and a deductible. This warranty is a good value for the money.

Summary: Excellent Product
I bought tis for my wife for Christmas! This is giving a great gift for anyone! I bought for the reaso several font sizes, if a book, text to speech is like listening to an audio book to be. This is great for individuals like my wife, who are visually impaired. I was able to enlarge the text to be big enough for them to get to the physical act of reading, which she misses so much. The only small flaw in this is the keyboard letters would be easier to read when they are in bold print. Other than that it's great!

Summary: Kindle warranties

My first Kindle had a screen defect after 8

Months of use. It was not deleted or something. Only an empty box appeared in the middle of the page. Because my Kindle was less than one years old, I was a substitute. If I noticed a red sticker on the packaging and not point out, a on the original packaging. The Kindle has worked well, but less than one years later, it would not let me move from item to item from the home page. When I called for help for the problem I was told my original Kindle has been remembered with a rebuilt one also replaces the search for the red dot! And it was only 3 months waranty and that had expired. My choices were to buy a new one or send back and that a rebuilt for $ 90, they would fix it. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with Kindle guarantees. I think my first was defective with a new version of Kindle Kindle since my original still under warranty. Beware of the warranties for this product!

Summary: Likely this is good but I chose alternative provider
I do not have that brand, but did you know that alternative operators called Square Trade, you buy them, making it possible accident coverage for a total of 3 years, for much less $. Looking for discount codes on the Internet and make sure you add the option for an accident, spills and drops. It adds up to even less. I have to speak their guarantees to other products, but not their service, because I have not raised a claim. I have a 5 star because it probably a fine policy, and I will not punish their satisfaction, but I wanted to look for alternatives. At the lower price, I felt quite comfortable paying for a warranty.

Summary: Money well spent??
As with any warranty you do not know how good unless you are using. I bought this product after reading the reviews, which are limited compared to what one years by the standard warranty cover offered for the Amazon Kindle. A bit expensive (about 20% of the cost of the Kindle), but cheaper than buying a replacement when damaged your Kindle. As with any extended warranty if it does not use the money thrown away, but if it is necessary money well spent.

Summary: necessary
the slightly more bearable - the greater the need for additional warranty. I had less than a week and dropped it. It literally slipped out of his hand, it is so slippery and it was at my house. If we use the way Amazon Kindle expects from us is something to be done. Seems like a good deal.

Summary: No need for extended warranty!
After all my research, I decided not to this extended warranty, provided that following the purchase:

1. My AMEX is the terms of the warranty of the original manufacturer Amazon.com extend up to one additional year. Visa / MasterCard cards, similar risks, which will be called Warranty Management Services.
2. AMEX also includes buyer protection for up to 90 days from the date of purchase against theft or damage up to $ 1,000 per occurrence.
3. 25% of the value to ignite - Expensive
4. This guarantee has to vary Exclusions / Restrictions

Summary: Not a 2 year extended warranty....only one added to the one given by Kindle.

The 65 dollar 2 years extended warranty is not what it says ...... It is added only a year to the years is that the w Kindle. Yes, you still get two years, but you pay for one year for $ 65.00. I also asked if I could guarantee that, after the spark for a year and the answer was: No Purchase! I think it's like buying a car and the warranty starts from date of purchase ..... but all that does is the leading customers! The guarantee would say a year in addition to your existing warranty for $ 65.00 and I bet they would sell allot fewer guarantees to ...... This must be a government program ran too!

Summary: Peace of mind
I, like many others when it comes to extended warranties. I do not think it is worthwhile for the majority of the items that I purchase. Reading some of the reviews here made me a little. I bought the Kindle 2 for my wife as a Christmas present. We have two small children, is an easy to learn to pull himself up, and in turn, pull everything in range. For me it is something that is not what we do without at this stage of the game. Forget they should go instead of the Kindle out of the way it is not a very expensive mistake. I had the opportunity to meet with a representative from the warranty company the other day to speak only to see that everything was in order. I had a Kindle, leather, Mighty Light and the guarantee will be ordered during Thanksgiving. At first the warranty list as not having a valid Kindle on file. After Christmas was over I wanted to be sure things were updated since the last review on my Amazon account. The individual was very professional and was able to answer all my questions in a short time. The price is a bit much for another year, but when you consider the cost of replacement should something in those two years, it pays to happen in my book.

Summary: Self Insurance is Better

Here's how I see it .... I buy a lot of electronics and never buy the extended warranty only rarely, because I use it. If I bought an extended warranty for everything I bought, it would in the whole s $ 1,000 U.S. dollars. Almost always less expensive, self-insured if you buy electronics - These companies are not guarantees with this "nice" - they know that they too make a big profit out of them ... When you "rest", then want to put the cost of the warranty into a savings account everytime you prefer to buy something, and from it to replace broken stuff. You'll find your savings account grows, and you may find it even replaced the option of obsolete electronics.

Summary: Warranty Review
The extension of the warranty seems to cover everything that you need if you travel a lot and is concerned about the robustness of the Kindle. I did not use the warranty yet, but it would prefer that this sentence, after I use the service.

Summary: Waste of money.
I had a Kindle me die after about 8 months of solid use. I called Amazon and they cross shipped me a new for Christmas! (Amazon is so big! Love them. Love the Kindle).

But with my bit of bad luck, I thought I could be an extended warranty for my purchase and the woman. Net Solutions sells a warranty for me, for both units. Then, after I the "contract" they suddenly decided to cancel it. Zap. It turns out Amazon, you will be a guarantee of a replacement Kindle but Net Solutions is invalid if the replacement is shipped within 30 days after purchase. HEY! I'm not trying to tear someone. It's not like I got a Kindle, sat down on it then decided to buy a guarantee. My successor or ignite in transit. Are these people so rich they do not need my money?

Then to make matters worse, I have found that the "2 years warranty" could, my wife was not such a thing!

The Kindle is equipped with a 1 year warranty. So you buy a 2 years extended warranty. Now do the math: 1 + 2 =?

If you say that you 3 would be false. In NetSolutions Country 1 + 2 = 2

This article is misleading as "2 years warranty" but it's really only 1 year warranty that they tack onto the end of the Kindle existing 1-year warranty.

As the economy ... It costs 65 U.S. dollars, the industry standard 25% of the purchase price - BUT - as a rule, you really get the 2 extra full years of coverage, PLUS is the manufacturer's warranty. So the thing is so over priced. Typically, these scam are are about 3% of the time is used and you bet, knows that the Net Solutions. That's good coin for the seller, but a bad deal for you. Unless you're a% from the 3rd Then you'll be happy you have it.

I think it depends on how you do not clumsy, right?

You can see exactly the same thing for free if you buy your Kindle with an American Express card. AMEX is the Amazon warranty doubles and they do it for free.

Summary: Wonderful way to read
I immensely enjoyed my haven Kindle only since I got it for Christmas. I even downloaded a book I had read in hard copy for a while, because I always leave her home. I have three books I am reading a book of short stories, one for my book club and an own for use only. I am thrilled with the selection and the prices of the books available.
