Summary: Almost a great Kindle light
There are some great things about this light. It fits perfectly into my platform cover. It's small, elegant, the brightness is good for me and I have no difficulty in the light to illuminate the entire area to Kindle. It uses one AAA battery. It would be almost perfect. EXCEPT ....

There are a number of problems, a large of them. The three-way on / off switch is terribly designed. It is very difficult to turn the thing into the other without overshooting "on" setting. It usually takes me a few tries to turn it off, even if I really focus on them. The "rotation" function is ok and necessary to reflect the light in the case, but the light is coming next, every time I try and swiveling. No big deal, but there was not any better? I could live with these two things, though. The big problem is the battery! It fits so tightly in the battery compartment that it is literally impossible to get without some kind of tool - like a small screwdriver or something to wedge it out. And even then it is not easy. My husband (the handy person who had actually employed the ancient fixing operation had machines) use not only that, but then a pair of pliers to slide the battery from the rest of the way! There is no replacing the battery on the go - it requires a surgical procedure and tools. And that is a big problem. I would be the thing again if I had kept the box.

Summary: Be careful of the cover you buy

This light does not fit the official Kindle 2 leather. It should clearly state that somewhere before you buy. Pivot hinge comes apart too easily. Can not turn the light without it coming apart in your hands.

Summary: Doesn't fit correctly
I can not be the only one who does not think of that e-luminator2 fits properly! I have the kindle2 and the m-edge platform, with lid (flips open over the top) ... if the light stored in the "" position (down), it is more than the cover! There is no way to get it higher than base can not exceed the elastic band on the upper corner. Also, avoid the use of light, they must be turned upwards, at which point in the lower part of the battery part is causing the light "bump up" and not flat more. I have a friend with another m-edge cover (traditionally opens side to side), and if we were not in it, they fit in the longitudinal direction, but the cover is not closed! After a wait since last March, with production delays and repeatedly told that would be an m-edge, it "every day", which is a huge disappointment! I can not even say what a disappointment it was - I've waited so long, and refused to try all the other lights, because this one was adopted, only to catch fire .. can be made not believe it took so long for this!

Summary: Doesn't fit well with M-Edge "Platform" Kindle cover
I bought this light special, because it was from M-edge, and supposedly will fit with M-edge leather cover Kindle. I decided to cover for the platform, which tilts backwards (like a flip chart) and not to open like a book (that's the Prodigy, I think).

This light is nice and cozy slide into a slot on the side of the platform, which has obviously made for this purpose. The problem is that the position of the slot is too high, the left side of the platform. This positions the battery compartment (the base) is too high, towered above the upper edge of the Kindle, so it is impossible to be the platform on the square closed Kindle cover. I can not force the cover, only square by fairly hard on the gooseneck from the battery compartment, which seems to be an injury to the neck or inner wire causes over time to close.

This problem could be solved if M would move the edge of the light-slot an inch or more at the bottom of the platform, or if the flexible neck, and light came from the bottom of the page will appear (as the image) can replace the upper side ( Perhaps the picture was reversed or made for the product has been redesigned).

Given the current design, I am quite sorry that I bought these two products together. I'll probably just remove the book lamp, instead of always sticking with fold higher than the Kindle (a sort of catch / loop / Velcro closure in the platform to wave the lights around would also have been helpful to keep, too).

So if you want to cover the platform that open vertically rotates, I can not recommend this book lamp.

Summary: Great item, great for night reading
My sister bought it for me ignite m using the latest prodigy in my case for my 2nd It is a big job, my kindle light for night reading.

It is sometimes a slight glare on the ignition of him, but can be easily corrected if you change the angle of light, or how you are holding the kindle.

Summary: Great light. Love it
I loved this light, I bought it with the M-Edge cover latitute, and it was a great investment because it fits perfectly with the lid, and it has two settings for brightness, so I decide how I want the light light received.

Great buy!

Summary: I bought the wrong cover-- which Amazon is pushing as a combo

Do not buy a standard cover with this light, even though Amazon drives them as a combo package at the moment. The ad says that this accessory "fits" the 6-inch screen, it latest generation Kindle, but that's not entirely true. 'S should fit in a special compartment in the COVER - but you have a compatible COVER not the Amazon usually have bundles with the Kindle. Read the information carefully. Do covering an M-edge platform, Prodigy and width, or go with a different light.

To be completely fair, I can tuck the light in between Kindle and temporarily cover the standard for reading, but I find that the light dim light and not broad enough is unanimous in its reading room anyway. I have a small LED flashlight, which is much better this job, it costs much less, and all I have to do is keep it in the teeth, while I read. LOL But with the right lid, it would be a handy accessory.

Amazon friends, do the people their money back on this one. MAKE IT CLEAR, the working and NOT offer includes the false cover with it as a special. :

Summary: I wouldn't buy this light again..
I have two of these lights. One works and the other not. It flickers constantly, and although I asked repeatedly for an RMA, it's Edge for a replacement, they did not return with me. The light fits into the sleeve on the book cover, but other than that reason I would not buy. The light is cheap, and made the whole thing looks like it will last for a month before falling apart. Buy The battery could connect to the light is made so cheaply, it is not as good as the battery in the spring connecting the cheapest you penlight. Spring has made it as a cheap ballpoint pen spring and the light is certainly not worth the price of $ 26 plus $ 5 shipping. Do not waste your money. Get a good light (and a good coverage, not all the time must zipping) and you will be happier.

Summary: It Swivels!!
I have this light with my Kindle2 owned 112,409 for slightly more than a month. I just realized bends the light! I do not remember such instructions in the package, and it was not quite right on my cover M-Edge Beam, but I did it anyway. I happen to include, on the other M-edge search to a particular photo and noticed that the pan process has shown. I love it! It fits as it is, without unnecessary bulk in the spine, which was a problem until I found out that rotated to. I agree with the other reviews about the 2 levels of brightness. Can not really tell the difference. I have not had a problem with leaving the light on by mistake, my light, but not stored in the spine cover with the width, so perhaps that is why it has not been a concern. It is bright enough for me and washes over the entire Kindle. I shop when he is a worn out!

Summary: It's great for a book light.
I have this light in combination with one of the compatible M-Edge Book covers required. This is a great duo for the Kindle. The light fits securely into the slot for which it made in the lid. There is no wiggle or slide so I have no worries fall out of them. As other guests have noted, it will find a bit of trial and error, to the sweet spot that provides complete illumination of the screen, Kindle, but that is unlikely. If the lens is made directly to the reader, there is absolutely no glare or backwashing, is shining brightly. The swan neck feels solid and the single AAA battery can be replaced without removing the cover of the device. The rotation of the body was a little stiff at first, but it has eased, as I broke it within a few days. It fits nicely into the spinal column from the ceiling and is completely unobtrusive when not in use. My only nitpick gripe is that I have with the higher of the two settings such as brightness, the lower turn, seems to offer just enough to be a nuisance. I appreciate the fact that there are two different settings, but I think they could both dipped a notch for general use. Solid construction, excellent fit, decent lighting, slim and attractive, but unobtrusive. Highly recommended insurance coverage for your M-Edge.

Summary: kindle light
Battery does not last long and expensive should use AAA batteries much cheaper. Light must be bright, since it does not cover the whole screen and you have to read it go on time. Very slow shipping form M-edge, which could be greatly improved. Poor customer service they do not reply to emails.

Summary: Nice Light, Very poor directions.
I like this light. However, I did not like it at first, because it does not fit well in the case. I finally figured out that the light turns to make the light fit perfectly into the case. The directions do not really clear. Good lighting, without disturbing too much light to the neighbors.

Summary: Nice little book light
We travel to Florida and I need to read a book light for my Kindle in the car at night, so I'd bought a book that fit my light M-Edge cover Lattitude. I thought that a book is a book light light. This is not only a book light - it fits perfectly in my M-Edge cover. When I am finished reading, puts it in the lid, especially for the light. How beautiful is this! The light could be a little lighter, but I've always used on the soft light and it's actually easier to read with the softer light. Buy it - you'll like it!

Summary: Not for Amazon Kindle 2 Case
This does not fit into the cover for the Amazon Kindle 2. The light itself would be a good value at $ 5. It is a small, inexpensive but well made LED light. That's it. If you have the cover for the Amazon Kindle 2, I suggest finding a different light, as this is a very poor value for money.

Summary: Perfect light for my new kindle 2

Great book light with your Kindle 2, using M-edge Kindle cover.

Well built, very easy to position and it stays where you want to

it, too. Love that it has 2 levels of brightness. So you light illuminates

not the whole space, so your spouse can sleep undisturbed.

Highly recommended!

Summary: skip it
Don't waste your money zu diesem Thema. Just wait for the Kindle mit dem hinterleuchteten Display.

Summary: TOO SMALL FOR KINDLE DX

This background, it would be OK for a regular KINDLE BE, which I still tried it and there. IT is totally inadequate for the Kindle DX. THERE IS NO WAY TO POSITION IN THE LIGHT COVER the entire screen. Useless.

Summary: Well done and useful add-on

I'm impressed at first sight, especially by the minimum dimensions of the M-edge e-Luminator2 and of course improved, it is highly portable: You can have him around with your Kindle! Although tiny, it seems sturdy and durable. It fits perfectly into the pocket sewn incorrectly on the back of my jacket coming to Latitude by M-edge: it is quite clear when they must use to not interfere, nor cut your eyes while reading, if they are not needed, it can be folded back and it's light part, which is the most sensitive point of the whole assembly can be adequately protected, slide-inserted into the back pocket for storage. I do not agree with the many really many! rewievers that have no substantial difference between the two levels of light, probably all of them need to visit their ophthalmologist pay appreciate it, because the difference seems to me also make clear that I do not have an owl-vision capacity, with over 56 old!.

While the grant of a five-star score, which I recommend it if you want to be missing your Kindle in low light conditions or use.

Summary: wonderful
Received today my light. Tried it out tonight. It lights up my Kindle wonderful. I offered the smaller of the two Kindles. The bright setting is great for the whole dark and I can see that facilitate the recruitment in the car would be good if the sun is set off. It fits wonderfully in my M-Edge case. It seems to add no extra weight.
